Fragmentation is what allows the worst qualities of every ideology to surface and get traction. Unity sublimates them because it creates a state closer to shared standards & judgments. People these days are high on the extremes & undervaluing the mundanity of healthy functioning.

Complex is a lot going on. Complicated is a mess. At the heart of "complex" is unified intent, someone dealing with and in a situation. Without this single point of initiative, complex is complicated. The result is dis-integration.

Getting an extra hour of sleep on the first day of Standard Time is a reminder that every single day of Daylight Saving Time makes us get up an hour earlier for no good reason.
How many of the artists who lecture audiences from the stage actually devote their *art* to talking about the issues they lecture audiences about? Seems like many of the artists using their captive audience for a protest rally play it safe with generic pablum as product.
The talk of "politics" in music right now seems more about risk-free social credit. The real work, & courage, is giving the art itself the job of conveying ideas that make the listener think & build beliefs on their own. Selling junk food while lecturing from a stage isn't it.

Art isn't ideas, it's the exploration of them through craft. If you skip that part - yes, the cameras, the puppets, the literal craft of whichever medium you're in - you're just automating the making a product and leaving out the entire part of the process that is what art is.

庄子这才点明：这就是诡辩。逻辑都通顺，但答案却不一样，很多人跟你争论，逻辑听着都没问题，但结论可以随意变换。
绕来绕去，目的不是求真，只是把你绕晕。
遇到这种诡辩，不必争辩。

I really think there is something to the idea that "primitive" graphics make your brain and imagination do more work, almost like reading a book. Your mind is constantly filling in blanks, interpreting, making up understanding, rather than just passively noting photorealism.

Art should not have to be labelled and identified. It should be experienced first, questioned and scrutinized later. We have lost something sacred.

Well for one because they are flooding streaming services with this crap. And since my pay from streaming is a federally mandated <complicated formula to get a monthly pool of money> DIVIDED by the streams. A bunch of AI crap counted in the denominator lowers my royalty rate. See 37 C.F.R. Part 385 Subpart B.
So, what’s the point of even worrying about guys like this? Let the world split into two factions, people who sit at home working with and for capital extraction tools that hold no value other than transferring dollars from citizens to wealth hoarders. And then, normal human beings who will share human made music with one another and gather at concerts etc? We should just leave losers behind and let them play with their toys.

The thing is, children are no longer profitable and that's why Lego is switching to an adult customer base. Every 1st world government now wants to send middle schoolers to work in the mines. I guess they have outlived their usefulness.
I have a feeling that Lucas's own ideas would have been a bit baffling and not satisfying nostalgia comfort. But, as with the prequels, we'd always know they were *his* ideas, and that means a lot. Though I think all Disney really needed to do was not crap on/tear up the OT.
