Many careers will be transformed during this AI revolution but my one hope is that the ‘Influencer’ as a career is completely obsoleted.
If you saw the data I’ve seen… I can’t even begin to tell you how many SNAP benefit recipients in NYC collect food stamps but will send multiples of what they receive as remittances back home to India, Haiti, Mexico, the DR, etc.
If you can afford to send money back “home”, you don’t need food stamps.

Remember when @NYCMayor decided to stand in front of Ken Griffin‘s @Citadel home and shame him to promote his wealth tax? It is high time that the same be done to 6-7 figure earners who occupy low rent, regulated housing, directly disadvantaging the poorest of NY’ers who need it the most.
We should be incensed that they not only pay way less than they can afford, but they also occupy apartments that are meant for families, living as a SINK or a DINK couple.

Tracey Towers, an 871-unit Mitchell-Lama complex in the Bronx, is facing a 30.59% rent hike over four years, 15% in year one alone. Set by the city, under Mamdani’s own HPD.
Not for repairs. To cover a mortgage the building is three years delinquent on, plus operating costs it can no longer meet. The greedy landlord doesn’t exist here, yet somehow the bills stayed.
Meanwhile the mayor promises a four-year freeze on a million stabilized apartments he doesn’t have to keep solvent, while the affordable housing his own agency actually runs is raising rents more in four years than the RGB has let stabilized buildings rise in the last ten.
How does anyone look at this and not see the problem the city and state are creating?
There aren’t enough billionaires to tax to cover the housing costs of a city with more renters than San Francisco has people.
