Legal battle between LSU Tigers and SEC took another turn on Wednesday afternoon, thanks to being enjoined in the RJ Luis lawsuit.
What if I told you this wasn’t all about actually playing basketball now?
A civil action could be brewing on the Bayou.. foxnews.com/outkick-sports/a…

LSU is now prohibited from adhering to the SEC rule prohibiting pros from returning to member school teams.
And the SEC is prohibited from punishing LSU for not following the rule.
Meaning Luis is currently eligible to play.
RJ Luis is temporarily eligible to suit up for Will Wade and LSU basketball without any repercussions from the SEC.
Spoke to Luis' attorney about how this happened, their legal plans, etc.
"LSU may be intimidated by ‘Kim Jong’ Sankey, but we're not."

More legal wrangling in the RJ Luis situation.
His attorneys have asked the judge that granted the preliminary injunction in his favor to bar LSU from following the SEC’s rule prohibiting “pros” from returning to play for SEC teams & to prohibit the SEC from punishing LSU.
The RJ Luis-LSU saga doesn’t appear to be over — Luis’ lawyers filed a petition in state district court on Tuesday asking a judge to block the SEC from punishing LSU if Luis is added to the roster:

Unlikely that anything will be done in the next 6 days.
Calif will process votes every day -- separating the ballot from the envelope so that the vote is counted and no able to be segregated in the days or weeks ahead,
The bigger problem is that Carter just told state and local official that their actions are not illegal.
Even if he's later determined to be wrong by a higher court, this creates an "estoppel" argument that could prevent any later prosecution of state or local officials -- "Judge Carter told us it was ok."
I said this last week.
My concern for a while is that DOJ, being understaffed, doesn't have enough EXPERIENCED TRIAL LAYWERS working for it who can "see around the corner" to understand how what they do today might impact what they might want to do in 3 months.
This is an example.

🚨 JUST IN: The REAL Sen. Dan Sullivan just TORCHED Mary Peltola for running a YEAR-LONG scheme to trick Alaskans, and treating them like they're STUPID
"The candidate I'm running against had a SCHEME for over a year to try to TRICK Alaskans, and that shows TOTAL CONTEMPT for the people of the state of Alaska."
They were treating Alaskans like they're kind of STUPID."
"We're NOT stupid. We're SMART. And we know we shouldn't be electing a CORRUPT SENATOR who's been lying to the Alaska people directly to their FACES for over a year!"

‼️ The PHONY "Daniel Sullivan" of Alaska who is running as a spoiler, has ONE campaign expense…
A law firm in DC called Caplin & Drysdale. Known for representing high-profile Democrats.
The Senior Counsel for that law firm is Trevor Potter.
Trevor Potter formed The Committee to Modernize Voter Registration (CMVR) in 2009 with none other than MARC ELIAS.
Their goals were more lenient voter laws and a modernized automated system using government databases to automatically register eligible voters (with an opt-out). 🤯
Potter is also a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute.
Phony "Dan Sullivan" sent Trevor Potter’s firm 10K.

The government’s brief against Comey’s motion to dismiss in the leak case isn’t bad. But it’s a complicated issue that the government could lose in District Court or on appeal. And it was so unnecessary. Why didn’t they indict earlier? They had all the time in the world and wasted it. Like bad clock management by a football team. storage.courtlistener.com/re…

...The NY Times is alleging that even the campaign lawyers were involved in this effort with senior aides. That is a very serious allegation against any lawyers if Peltola was actually fishing for decoy Dan Sullivans.

NEW: [real] Dan Sullivan’s campaign spox Nate Adams tells @realDailyWire: “Alaskans deserve the truth. Mary Peltola, her campaign, and her senior advisors colluded with the DSCC, national Democrat lawyers, and Alaska Democrat operatives to recruit candidates to deliberately deceive and confuse voters, and then repeatedly lied about it.”
“Not one player in this operation has acted in good faith with Alaska voters. Mary Peltola and her campaign have spent months gaslighting Alaskans, denying a scheme they were running all along. We always knew this was a concerted effort to deceive Alaskans, and Mary Peltola was hoping it would stay covered up until after the election.”

...What is striking about the NY Times report is that it refers to other sources on the Peltola campaign's effort to create such confusion. It is even more problematic when Peltola recently filed to prevent efforts to address the confusion by calling the allegations "baseless."

In her recent federal filing, Mary Peltola's counsel insisted, "DOJ's complaint is wholly baseless." Now the NY Times is reporting that her campaign was actively involved in seeking to confuse Alaskan voters by running decoy "Dan Sullivans." A staffer now says that Peltola knew about the effort to force voter confusion.

Matt Gaetz would have made a fantastic Attorney General, regardless of what one thinks of his views on this or that, which are largely irrelevant. What made him so well suited to the job was his combination of two rare qualities, a formidable intellect and a warrior mentality. Unfortunately, Pam Bondi possessed neither. Otherwise, we might already have seen the strategy outlined below put into action, and the Democrats and their judicial flunkies would have been totally powerless to stop it.
The good news is that it is not too late. Every U.S. Attorney should be 100% committed to the program. If, for whatever reason, they can't get Senate confirmation, simply maintain a roster of outstanding candidates to fill the various positions through successive 119 day appointments. Just keep the appointments coming.
Replying to @HansMahncke
Rolling 119 day appointments to the next one over. Rolling back a Communist takeover was never going to be easy.

NOT doing something (i.e., not arresting anyone to PREVENT a crime which seems to be your analogy), is entirely different from FACILITATING that crime via the actions of sending a ballot and counting the vote.
Acts that aid and abet, just like overt acts in furtherance of a conspiracy, need not themselves be unlawful.
And the "aiding and abetting" basis for criminality requires an "intent" that the crime be completed.
How would you prove the "intent" of the DOJ officials you think would be similarly implicated as the state officials who have expressed an unwavering desire to get a ballot in the hand of every individual registered to vote?
Replying to @enwinn @shipwreckedcrew
Hilariously, this crackpot theory would most apply to the exact same people at the DOJ that Ship is trying to support - they could make arrests if they legitimately thought there was a high probability that anyone on this list was fraudulently registered.
