Six years ago, I packed my bags and moved to New York, not entirely knowing what I was getting myself into.
What followed were six years of incredible people, lifelong friendships, and a marriage. Somewhere along the way, a city that once felt so unfamiliar quietly became home. Earlier this month, I packed those bags again. This time, trading Brooklyn for London, bagels for baked beans, bodegas for pubs, and the subway for the tube. Leaving behind a life I'd grown to love for the excitement of starting something new.
I'm thrilled to share that I've joined @Lovable, helping shape the future of how we design and build software. And the timing couldn't be better, arriving just as we announce our new London office.
A massive thank you to @nadonomy and the entire team for all the support and encouragement throughout this transition.
There's something strangely familiar about starting over. A little uncertainty, a lot of excitement, and that same feeling that something special might be just around the corner.
Six years ago, New York was the unknown. Today, it's London.
waaaaaaaaaaaabi!
Wabi 2.0 is live!
personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person
Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat
school changes pickup time β Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it.
a show youβd both love β Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets.
the trip everyone keeps talking about β Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it
go start a thread with your people π
a website i feel like i can taste
New portfolio is live (!!) 15 years in design in New York, compressed into 8 chapters. Less a collection of case studies, more a career told as lived experience.
You're looking at the eight things that shaped the space between who I am and what I like, make, and care about. They just happen to be represented with gummies instead of company logos.
Honestly, this site is just an excuse to share a collection of personal stories because I enjoy writing. Each chapter breaks down into what I expected, what I found, what followed (The Premise, The Reality, The Plot).
It's equal parts reflection, advice, and a look at some things built along the way.

Introducing Graphical.
It's a simple, powerful, and fun tool to design visual languages, style components, and work with coding agents to create interfaces that look memorable and feel unique.
I hope you'll check it out at graphicalui.com!

Introducing Wabi 2.0: a new kind of messenger that makes apps and gets things done for you and your friends.
Weβre building the OS for the agentic era - software that adapts to your life, gets things done, and makes more room for the people and things that matter.
Invite-only to start. Download Wabi to get on the waitlist. First come, first served.

This is what the people in NYC wake up to every morning while you're suffering in some other state, btw.
Love personal software like this!
I built a calendar you can customize to remember your days.
Doodle, create Washi tape or stickers, and more...
It's called "Hibi Calendar" and you can download it on the App Store (free!):

"do animals see differently than humans?"
my girls asked me that yesterday. we read about it, but it didn't click, so i built a @wabi instead.
just tap and you'll instantly see the world through the eyes of a dog, cat, bee, bat, mole, eagle, and more (mantis shrimp is my favorite)
link in reply and comment with any other animals you'd like to see and i'll add
The amount of creator tools coming out is amazing.
These animations would have ages to build in After Effects. Still amazed how simply it is to use it β¨
