An important thread
It goes without saying that I have major disagreements with both Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed, and neither one particularly likes me.
Rogers and I regularly battled in the U.S. House. Iβm a staunch defender of liberty and the Constitution, and heβs a champion of big weaponized government, mass surveillance, and endless wars. He tried (and failed) to oust me from Congress.
When I was considering a presidential run in 2020, El-Sayed wrote a gratuitous op-ed to warn people that βJustin Amash is no hero,β calling my principles βheartlessβ and finishing with the reminder: βYour enemyβs enemy is not your friend.β
In short, I have no soft spot for either of these guys.
I also donβt vote for βthe lesser of two evils.β
I believe you should support a candidate only if you truly want the person to hold that office.
Iβve already voted, and consistent with the above principle, I didnβt vote for Rogers or El-Sayed.
But I do know which one would be more dangerous in the U.S. Senateβand itβs not even close.

A ploy for traffic? iWantClips is removing 17 categories and revoking content UK customers already paid for. That's not a clever marketing ploy, and not forgetting the thousands of us already frantically trying to wipe our work before the 6th, losing income
The UK and Sweden are the perfect example of governments trying to protect women by assuming they have zero agency.

Obviously lots of porn being made technically illegal doesn't necessarily mean the cops will be battering down your door at every little offence. But that just means they have broad discretion to selectively enforce it against people they dislike.

If these new UK laws are about "Protecting Women" why are all the categories they are banning predominantly "female domination" categories?

I really don't think people who aren't IN the industry understand how stupid and arbitrary the bans on content are right now. One site is AI backgrounds, another is witchy control, meanwhile face sitting is punishable by jail time in the UK. It's just absolutely bizzare.
