Our church has been doing a series on what it means to be "in Christ" & a last month, my pastor asked if I could get my hands on a copy of @kyleworley's new book "Home With God." It wasn't out in time, but it's coming next week!

College students: As you settle back into the rhythms of the school year, prioritize the local church.
One of the best decisions you can make is joining a local church that is going to disciple and deploy you during your time in school.

My dad and I are writing a book together!
As he wraps up 40 years of pastoring and I come up on nearly 20 years of ministry leadership, we are working on a book with @BHpub entitled “The First Five.”
The aim is to provide a handbook for how ministry leaders can thrive and grow in their first five years of ministry. Whether they are serving in full time or part time roles, across every sphere of leadership, we’ve learned some simple and transferable skills that we want to pass on.
I can’t wait for y’all to learn from my dad’s wisdom and insight - it’s been one of God’s great gifts to me as a young f leader.
Releasing sometime in 2026.
Pray for us!

Another fantastic episode of @KnowingFaithPod
Sam Allberry makes some amazing connections on the topic of union with Christ - the link with the Promised Land is something I want to think about more. Very thought-provoking listen.

The anchor for this book is 1 John 3:1-3. A passage that stuns my heart every time I hear it:
“Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is.” (V. 2)
