Lab party this afternoon. So wonderful to spend time with this amazing group of scientists and their families. Crazy that it is over 90 degrees a day before Fall!
A wonderful night with our friends and collaborators @BenGewurz and Dr. Bo Zhao. Homemade lasagna and Greater’s ice cream. It is way more fun to study #EBV with friends.
So much fun to host rockstar graduate student Edwin Pena @EddieX013 for six weeks to build an MPRA in our lab. We will miss you so much! Excited for you to come back in August to transfect these libraries in August. Thanks @josarc for sending him to Cincinnati!
We co-hosted Discovery Day @CincyChildrens last Saturday. It’s fun to see our lab on the news. youtu.be/tZTtyxUSERs?si=XziD…

We had an amazing time celebrating Dr. Kenyatta Viel after she successfully defended her PhD in Molecular and Developmental Biology yesterday. I love working with such amazing scholars who also are some of the kindest and most fun people I know!
Congratulations to Olivia for acceptance to the UC MD/PhD MSTP program! We are so excited for you! We have enjoyed your being in our lab for the last 1.5 years. We will miss you but are thrilled you can still drop by!

This is example of our wet lab and computational lab coming together to Discover mechanisms that no one person could do by theirselves. It is pretty exciting what we can do when we bring our different expertise and approaches together. @CarmyForney @hayley_prosser @matthass8
Super excited for this meeting. We (Matt Weirauch and I) are bringing a big part of our lab. Come join us - we are excited to learn from you!
