Bay uses rust based ad blocker rather than shipping ublock origin entirely
it means, on every tab, bay has cut down ~71% of memory making it more faster

I'm building Bay, an open-source browser for the Mac. Your tabs, finally in order.
Spaces, a sidebar that stays tidy, Peek, Split View and ads blocked out of the box, on Chrome's own engine.
Bay 1.5.4 is out today:
• Drive Bay from your terminal with the new bay command. Your coding agents can use it too.
• Pin a split view
• Clear cookies and cache from the command bar
• Hide the space header if you only use one space
• Drag spaces to reorder them
• A new welcome onboarding flow
• Choose Stable or Nightly updates

it's Chromium-based and literally feels like Arc.
Bay is soon coming to linux as well :)
We are close, need some more time to fix rough edges around it

→ DMG size is now cut down by 50%, it now is 150MB
→ All of arc features is now in bay
→ Boosts is now available - change css for websites as you will
