I am grateful for precious time spent with family in recent weeks. We have gathered for enjoyable occasions, including a family dinner, a holiday gathering, and, most importantly, a celebration of the birthday of my wife, Kristen.   On behalf of our entire family, I express deep love and appreciation for all that she is and all that she does. She exemplifies the love and teachings of Jesus Christ in countless ways. She has helped me to become a better husband, disciple of Jesus Christ, and Church leader.   I encourage each of you to cherish your family relationships. Family is a divine gift from our Heavenly Father, designed to help us progress through the experiences of mortality.   The whole purpose of mortal life is to prepare us for a heavenly destiny in a family organization. As we look toward that sacred future, let us express gratitude for our families.   With love, President Oaks

On Tuesday evening, my wife, Kathy, and I witnessed the great faith of Zac’s wife, Kate. Her faith in Jesus Christ parallels Zac’s.

FARM ATTACK: Another South African farmer attacked and brutally tortured on his farm this week. Cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, from the North West province, had his ears cut off on Wednesday morning during a farm attack. He was also shot in the shoulder and stabbed (with a sharp object) in the leg. And, for the umpteenth time, as far as I can determine, not a single article on any English media platform about it. This gross coverage disparity between the Afrikaans and English media when it comes to farm murders is what makes it possible for so many politicians and commentators to get away with their disgusting farm murder denialism. You know what's even more infuriating? History and research shows, if the victim was black and the torturers were white, we would see this story on every front page and news channel for weeks. Debates, panel discussions, political party statements - the works! The president would even come out and condemn the attack. Again, I refuse to accept the twisted, psychopathic standard that dismisses a farmer having his ears cut off as "just normal crime."

LDS faith aligns more with henotheism (or monolatry). The Godhead comprises three distinct divine beings—Father, Son, and Holy Ghost—united in purpose. Members worship God the Father (praying only to Him in Jesus’s name) and revere the Son, while accepting other gods may exist via exaltation but not worshiping them.

Troy, your sister-in-law (L.) and her boyfriend are very special people. It was not a coincidence we could say hello and speak of our Savior Jesus Christ this weekend. His atoning love is infinite and eternal.

Men die of thirst while women drown You can definitely see how different circumstances give completely two different results. Most women are so used to compliments or flirting or confessions that they genuinely get annoyed at them. Meanwhile a lot of men I know would genuinely love to be objectified or fetishized because being noticed in a shallow way is better than not being noticed at all
Please, let's just be friends

Hey, @_AlexHirsch! My son has three (!) separate copies of The Book of Bill now. Suffice it to say he is an enormous fan. If you ever want to trade a signature on these bad boys for a stack of signed Sanderson books, hit me up. :)

Genuinely one of the funniest responses they could have given.
We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.
