Isn't this a time for each party, especially those that didn't do well to interrogate why it didn't do well and them come up with strategies for the future? So the EFF is using the ANC's electoral performance to tell the ANC what it should do? What must the EFF do to perform better? If the ANC is suffering because of its leader, then it must confront that question. Teaming up with a party whose own footprint is dwindling does not answer the ANC question. It benefits the EFF.

1. Where do they stay?
2. Where do their kids go to school?
3. What institutions of higher learning did they attend? (This is assuming they know the inside of a lecture hall)
4. Where were their vehicles manufactured?
5. Where do they shop for clothing?
6. Where do they wine & dine?
7. What healthcare facilities do they prefer?
8. Where do they do their groceries?
9. Where do they ‘buy’ their long hair?
10. Where is their favourite drinco brewed?
11. Preferred race of their lawyer when they’re in trouble? etc, etc
Don’t be irritated by them.

In 1994 Nelson Mandela lost KZN to the IFP led by Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
In 1999 Thabo Mbeki also lost KZN to the IFP under Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
In 2004 for the first time the ANC won KZN from the IFP with Jacob Zuma as it's Deputy President.
Ramaphosa is not the first non Zulu ANC president to struggle with KZN, it's all in the records. Anyone who doesn't believe this must go argue with the sea.
