☑️In the first case, a soft tissue mass is observed in the medial aspect of the left thigh. A vascular structure is seen entering the lesion proximally, creating the "#string sign." The pathological diagnosis was consistent with #leiomyosarcoma. In the second case, a soft tissue mass is observed along the peroneal nerve tract in the posterior-lateral aspect of the left knee. The peroneal nerve is continuous with the lesion proximally, also displaying the "#string sign" (white arrows). Additionally, a "#target sign" (red arrow) is seen in the STIR sequence, characterized by central hypointensity and peripheral hyperintensity. The pathological diagnosis was consistent with #neurofibroma. The "string sign" (white arrows), defined as the entering and exiting nerve in continuity with the nerve sheath tumor, was found in both cases. In the first patient, this sign was caused by an entering vein, whereas in the second patient, it was caused by the entering peripheral nerve.
