LP News (@LPNational), October edition, is amazing. In addition to write-ups for several fabulous candidates, it lists Libertarian candidates on the ballot this Tuesday--370 total.
I interviewed those highlighted in green--63 (17%). My goal for next election is 25%+.
If I missed anyone, apologies. It was an oversight.

Several states have already banned this defense entirely in their own courts. It is past time the federal government did the same.”

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
As our children enjoy Halloween, let’s remember something that should matter every single day: PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN.
Before you vote, do your research. Know your candidates. Look beyond party labels and pay attention to their voting records.
On HB 5425, Representative Emily Dievendorf voted among the minority of just nine legislators, while a bipartisan majority of Republicans and Democrats voted the other way on legislation concerning whether individuals convicted of certain child sex offenses should be permitted to work in settings primarily serving children.
This raises an important question:
Why did our District 77 representative vote this way?
Our community deserves an explanation. Parents deserve transparency. And our elected officials must be accountable for their votes.
I believe protecting children should always be a priority, regardless of political party.
Let’s have an honest conversation about the TRUTH, THE FACTS, AND THE VOTING RECORD.
Your voice matters. Your vote matters.

I am the Libertarian candidate for the United States House of Representatives for Michigan’s 5th Congressional District in the 2026 election. I accepted the Libertarian nomination because I believe voters deserve a choice beyond the two major parties and a representative who is committed to defending individual liberty and constitutional government.
As a Libertarian, I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves, exercise only those powers granted by the Constitution, and respect the rights and freedoms of every individual. I support policies that expand personal liberty, encourage fiscal responsibility, and reduce unnecessary government interference in the lives of peaceful Americans. These principles have long been the foundation of the Libertarian Party and are why I chose to seek public office as its nominee.
If elected, I will work to represent the people of Michigan’s 5th District with integrity, independence, and a commitment to protecting the constitutional rights of every American. I believe Congress should be focused on serving its constituents, exercising responsible oversight, and preserving the freedoms that allow individuals, families, and businesses to thrive.

Children cannot consent.
Full stop.
They have the same right to physical safety as any adult. That right is absolute.
Sexual attraction to children is not a protected preference or a harmless thought. Treating it as normal, inevitable, or something society must accommodate creates pathways for abuse. We do not give that treatment to other dangerous impulses that target the non-consenting, and we do not do it here.
These rights are not negotiable.

Do you understand what pedophilia is?
It's sexual attraction to children who haven't reached puberty. It's not an action.
What's criminalized is the act of child sexual abuse, not pedophilia.
Few things are more unlibertarian than creating thought crimes, criminalizing desire.

Elected officials should answer to you - not to party bosses. Too many arrive in Lansing and quickly become more loyal to their party leadership than to the constituents who sent them. Christine will not play that game. She will hold herself to the same standard of transparency she demands from others.
“Government should do less. Your rights are not negotiable. I believe the proper role of government is narrow and well-defined: protect individual rights, maintain essential public services, and enforce fair and consistent
laws.”
