An emotional Ben McDonald tells Paul Finebaum about getting the call last night that Skip Bertman wasn’t doing well, driving to Baton Rouge and getting the chance to visit with him.
Ben said Skip looked at him and told him, “It’s the bottom of the 9th.” 🥺💔
"This guy changed college baseball. ... He changed the game in so many ways."
@realbenmcdonald reflects on the life and legacy of LSU legend Skip Bertman with @finebaum:

Ben McDonald with a great story on failing on the biggest stage and bouncing back.
“I never failed at anything in my life…”
Then came the College World Series, a walk-off, an opposing coach talking trash and a punch in the gut he needed.

LSU Gymnastics lost six seniors off last year's roster – a class that included legends like Haleigh Bryant, Aleah Finnegan and Sierra Ballard.
So what happened? They went from a No. 1 overall seed to a No. 2 overall seed.
Jay Clark and his staff deserve all the praise.
The road to Fort Worth starts in our house 🏠
The Tigers have been selected as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA postseason and will host regionals in the PMAC from Wednesday, April 1 to Saturday, April 4!

Watch the judges watching Kailin Chio, in the foreground on the right and second from left on the other side of the beam. Neither one moves to mark a deduction. Because they’re watching perfection.
Doesn’t get any better than this.
@kailin_chio just scored her fourth perfect score on beam this season ‼️

Walking back to my car with some thoughts tonight. Whether you’re an @LSUgym fan, or just a fan of witnessing greatness in sport, you are going to want to take advantage of every home meet Kailin Chio has in the PMAC. Don’t think twice. Go watch her.

Great crowd as expected for the @LSUgym home opener. The only sport on campus that outdraws gymnastics on an event by event basis is football.
