Suggestion: Instead of using pre-approved oauth apps for each social media, add adapters for popular social media API routers/facades and let people easily switch. That way, if one app is banned, others won’t be impacted
Introducing Postiz-cheap 🎉 Many are paying $99/mo for Postiz just to schedule content That's $1188 a year. Forever. Crazy expensive So I built a free open-source alternative No subscriptions, no lock-in, no limits Have fun 🥳 Repo :- github.com/Anil-matcha/Posti…

In the age of AI where the code generation had become cheap, you can literally build anything you want… But, what’s important is what to build? That’s why I started working on “find app ideas” project. For a given idea, it finds current android/ios apps in the market, it scrapes through the reviews and tells you what to build. Also, it’s important for us to look for other open source and self-host-able alternatives before building anything
Paying $99/month was getting a little too expensive... So I built my own open source alternative that now costs me LESS THAN $1/month to run. YES, 99x CHEAPER! 🤯 Introducing Open Post, an open source alternative to Post Bridge that lets you post to all your social media accounts from one dashboard. I'll be open sourcing it on GitHub this coming week once I finish testing each social media integration. And just to be clear... This isn't about taking business away from an existing SaaS. I simply wanted to build something cheaper for myself that does the exact same thing. If you want a ready-to-use solution and don't mind paying $40-$100/month, definitely check out the original SaaS! But if you prefer self-hosting and saving money, Open Post is coming soon for free. 🚀

Arc was my favourite browser for sometime… I was in love with their UX. I only switched when I find it difficult to navigate between favourites and bookmark folders
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

Railway competitor is much needed now. Huge market opportunity I see… Work on developer experience and you can win the share of market
Spent multiple hours now evaluating Railway alternatives to move my shit to. Conclusion is that Railway's product is uniquely good and nothing comes close to a drop in replacement 🙃 Minimum cost to replicate my setup today is 3x higher than I am paying them currently

The blog post says, “we tried to work with Theo on his rust port” -> but what happened later? Why can’t that be merged? That would save tokens right
Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀 We are not forking TypeScript! ◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team ◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory ◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers ◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain npx tsrs blog.cloudflare.com/typescri…

Deepseek open sourced their secret sauce behind their inference. This is big news…
🚀 Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source! Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. We’re sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable. 🔗 github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepI… 1/4

Finally, SIMD is adapted to Go. SIMD is the main USP of Clickhouse MergeTree engine. I guess we can write better performant Golang programs without having huge build outputs
My article about SIMD and Go is out! In this one I explain how one CPU instruction can work on 8 numbers at once, and how you can now use that from plain Go with the experimental simd/archsimd and simd packages. My intention with this post is to explain in simple terms how SIMD works at CPU level, to give you the mental model on how to use it, and then give you enough information about how you use it from Go to start working with it. You can read it here: internals-for-interns.com/po… #Go #SIMD

Video content is hard to create… Not sure why X is pushing video format on the lines of Instagram, YouTube…
We’re doubling down on video on 𝕏. Today, we're piloting Video Kickstart Bonus, an invite-only program that rewards creators for posting their video content here. A few things to know: • Videos must be vertical, under 3 minutes, and content you’ve created yourself. • Videos you’ve already shared on other platforms are eligible, as long as they don’t have watermarks. • You must post at least 15 videos across 15 different days within the 30-day period of the campaign. Invites are rolling out over the next few days, and enrollment closes October 30. Happy posting!!

What growth marketing these guys use? 5x growth in an year is tremendous
Railway started the year at $20M ARR. It’s now ~$100M. Solo founder. Fully remote. Only ~40 people. The one trait that explains why Railway is breaking all the rules: “It’s almost like cheating on your homework when you go and look at somebody else’s solution. If this is how Stripe does this or this is how Cursor does this, I don’t want to hear about it.” Jake Cooper (@justjake). Founder and CEO of @Railway. Knuckle Up ↓ -- In this conversation with Jake Cooper: 00:00 Who is Jake Cooper? 02:54 How did Railway survive losing $500K a month? 06:01 What made Railway’s growth chart go vertical? 09:45 Why won’t Jake look at how other companies solve problems? 14:34 Is two the worst number of co-founders? 20:04 How does a 40-person team hit $100M in ARR? 22:41 Why does Railway say no to 90% of ideas? 28:55 How do you compete for talent against the AI labs? 32:25 What does a technical interview look like after Opus 4.5? 35:34 Trust, clarity, judgment: how does Railway’s six-week onboarding work? 44:59 What does HARD stand for, and which value costs the most? 48:49 Why does Jake go dark from Friday night to Sunday? 54:54 What breaks first in a world with 10,000x more software? 59:49 Where does Railway play in two years? 1:01:37 How has Jake had to grow as a CEO? 1:09:29 Is burnout just an input-output mismatch? 1:12:27 Why does Jake think most startup advice is overrated?

- The main goal of SSL/TLS protocol is to ensure security, data integrity and avoid man-in-the-middle attacks. - In layman terms, as the client and server talk through the public internet, no attacker in the middle should be able to see what data was being sent. - Exchange hello messages to agree on algorithms, protocol versions, exchange random values. - Exchange the necessary cryptographic parameters (random values generated by each) to allow the client and server to generate a premaster secret using asymetric encryption algorithms such as Diffie-Hellman. - Exchange certificates and cryptographic information to allow the client and server to authenticate themselves. - Generate a master secret from the premaster secret using symmetric encryption algorithms. - A WebSocket is a network protocol for two-way communication between a client and a server. - It is built on top of HTTP i.e. existing HTTP connection would be upgraded to a WebSocket conneciton. - STOMP is a text-based messaging protocol. It can run over a WebSocket connection or another reliable two-way connection, such as TCP. It provides an abstraction layer for multiple clients to talk with a predefined contract and data format.
