Elon Musk when he hears people betting against him:
Verizon's CEO said today that SpaceX will need at least 4-6 years and $300B-$500B to fully build out its @Starlink Mobile U.S. carrier network:
"Their service just can't compete with a terrestrial network. In suburban and urban areas, where 98% of our revenues are, we're somewhere between 100x–1,000x more efficient than they are. We know exactly what they're going to do. We know who they're talking to on towers. There's no magic wand. There's no secret sauce. There's no shortcut.
They're going to look at 65,000–80,000 macro sites. They're going to need backhaul, RAN, and a tremendous amount of spectrum. It's going to take a minimum of four to six years to fully build that out. It's going to cost hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, I assume somewhere between $300 billion and $500 billion.
Then they need to build retail, customer service, back office systems, et cetera. All of that gets them basically the same network and same capabilities and same cost structure as what we have today. Then sometime over the next four to six years, they have the possibility of becoming the sixth, not the fourth, the sixth competitor in the market.
You can be sure over these next three to five years or six years, we are not going to be standing still. Four to five years from now, we will be two to three generations better than where we are today. We will have high-speed broadband gig-plus coverage across the country with our millimeter wave. We are ahead of most people and already experimenting with what 6G applications will look like."

This is great
Updated @Tesla Robotaxi geofence sizes (in square miles):
• Austin: 272
• Houston: 254 (916% increase today)
• Dallas: 81
• Miami: 31
• Orlando: 26
• Tampa: 24
All these areas are fully autonomous/unsupervised robotaxis only.
Can’t wait for the airport to be opened up as a location too. I can take a cybercab straight from my home to the airport at that point
Tesla is the only AV operator that can take riders to and from the F1 race in Austin, Texas this weekend. It’s important to understand why.
Tesla has long highlighted the advantages of its approach: an end-to-end neural network, no HD maps, and camera-only vision.
This weekend, Tesla Robotaxi expanded the geofence for the race. It could do so quickly because, unlike other AV operators, it doesn’t need to HD-map an area before driving there safely.
It adapts on the fly and validates areas with minimal effort.
Congrats to the Robotaxi team for doing what no other company could.
Red is Tesla; blue is Waymo for reference.

I’m so tired of people who don’t build talking about seizing companies and wealth from those who do.
Democrats want to seize SpaceX because he’s a larger billionaire than all of their billionaires.
They don’t like that he can outspend their billionaires.
It’s amazing how much FSD and thus Tesla sales have blown up due to videos like this and word of mouth. Only one car company has this in the world.
I don’t need 64GB ram for my PC. But maybe I do? But I shouldn’t. But maybe the prices are good? No, my PC is powerful enough as-is. But I could sell my old memory? 🤔

I think there’s a lot of people right now that don’t own a Duo that are putting their reviews as though they have had the full experience. I value the reviews most from those who actually bought and put their data on it. Going to an Apple Store for an hour at most and reviewing like you own it is just not the same
