Former Poudre School District counselor Cassandra Poncelow accepts GUILTY plea to sex abuse charges in a packed courtroom. Following eloquent & emotional impact statements by two female victims, Judge McDonald sentences Poncelow to prison.
Courtroom silent afterwards as Poncelow was handcuffed and led out by sheriff’s deputies.
Ballot Issue 7A wants a permanent sales tax hike so a train can replace less than 0.3% of the cars on I-25 between Pueblo and Fort Collins.
That tax is projected to pull in $295 million every year, plus $580 million in debt. About 900,000 people in the district live far from any station. And CSI’s model shows 417 fewer jobs statewide by 2036 even after the new spending.

Ilhan Omar’s home was RAIDED by the Department of Homeland Security this morning as part of a criminal immigration fraud investigation.
The probe is into her immigration paperwork, which was filled out by her father.
A DOJ spokesperson said: “Today in the Washington, D.C., area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice. This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation”
