Here are the same people trying to scam me. Very nearly fell for the same trick. The number they call you from shows on your phone as being your bank, they are persistent, aggressive and know the system inside out. I’m convinced they are either current or ex Bank employees.

We are really sad to share the passing of Lloyd Cowan MBE. He was such a friendly welcoming and motivational character. Who coached athletes from grassroots to international level!
Our condolences go out to our athlete @Dwaynecowan and his family

The implications of such a late about-turn are so dangerous. People having to go to rammed supermarkets, cos they thought they were eating elsewhere. Vulnerable people who will be left alone, no gifts in the post, no food, cos it’s too late for anyone to make alternative plans.
I defy you not to tear up

For those wanting to see a concession speech, this one by John McCain — congratulating Obama in 2008 — is worth watching again. See how he faces down the boos from his own supporters. Very few greater moments of humility.

A huge loss. What a woman. Rest in Power the Notorious #RBG you gave American women and women all around the world, hope and an incredible role model
Harvard’s Law School accepted 500 students in 1956.
Only 9 women were allowed in.
She was a foot shorter than everyone else in the room. But ten feet tall in history’s eyes. #RIPRBG
