🌲 - 🇱🇧🇺🇸 Lebanon's Embassy in Washington has officially confirmed that the U.S. State Department declared Lebanese Consul General Ibrahim Charara persona non grata. According to L'Orient Today, Charara was notified on Friday and given until Sunday, November 8, at 8:00 AM to leave the United States.
A source close to Charara claims his X account was hacked seven years ago, leaving him without access to the account, its email address, or associated phone number. However, the account contains political commentary and quotations from writers and philosophers dated September 2021, years after the alleged hacking.
The hacking explanation remains questionable.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🇸🇾🇺🇸 Another post from Charara said: “From the Marine barracks in Beirut to the Al-Tanf base… We will reject the occupier and defeat it,” referring to US forces in Syria.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🇺🇸 A screenshot of an October 23, 2021 X post of Lebanon’s Consul General in Detroit, Ibrahim Sharara, shows him praising the 1983 Beirut Marine barracks bombing, which killed 241 U.S. servicemen, as an act of “heroic resistance.”
Additional photographs show Sharara alongside political commentator Ana Kasparian, as well as at a separate event attended by Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

🌲 - 🇱🇧🔰🇮🇱 An investigation warns that Hezbollah-linked organizations are rebuilding their presence in southern Lebanese villages transferred to Lebanese Army control more than 100 days ago.
Hezbollah's Islamic Health Organization and the Wa Taawano Association (جمعية وتعاونوا) have resumed operations in Zawtar al-Gharbiyah, including body recovery, food distribution, and the installation of prefabricated facilities.
Further research into Wa Taawano reveals stronger links to Hezbollah's wider network:
The association, headed by Afif Shouman, previously acknowledged using an account at Hezbollah-linked Al-Qard al-Hassan to receive donations. Lebanese reporting has also documented cooperation between Wa Taawano and Hezbollah-associated social organizations.
Since the November 2024 ceasefire, Wa Taawano has installed dozens of prefabricated structures across southern Lebanon, officially intended for displaced residents and essential services.
Israeli officials consider these developments evidence that the security pilot is failing to prevent Hezbollah's return.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🔰 Tensions between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement have resurfaced in several southern Lebanese municipalities.
In Hallousiyeh, Tyre district, a dispute erupted over naming the town’s main road after Hassan Nasrallah, with Amal representatives demanding recognition of Musa al-Sadr. The disagreement escalated into legal complaints.
Similar tensions were reported in Selaa and Kafra, prompting senior municipal officials from both groups to intervene.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🔰 Tensions between Hezbollah and Nabih Berri's Amal Movement have surfaced in several southern Lebanese towns, despite efforts by both leaderships to preserve their alliance.
Previous incidents include a dispute in Zefta over placing a Hezbollah flag on a former Amal member's coffin, tensions in Houmine al-Fawqa over the removal of an Amal flag and display of an Iranian flag, and conflicting accounts of a confrontation in Arabsalim over Hezbollah's military presence in residential buildings.
Disagreements also extend to Hezbollah's possible participation in another regional war involving Iran. Nevertheless, both organizations continue to affirm their political alliance, with southern Lebanon remaining their principal shared concern.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🔰 Hezbollah MP Ali Ammar condemned the joint statement issued by the embassies of 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺🇨🇦🇯🇵 concerning the Dahr al-Baidar explosives case, accusing the five countries of interfering in Lebanon's internal affairs and undermining its sovereignty and judicial independence.
Ammar called on the Lebanese government to take action against what he described as repeated diplomatic interference.

🌲 - 🇨🇿🇪🇺 Bomb threats targeting European aviation have resumed. Czech police report new threats involving aircraft departing from or arriving at Prague Airport, following yesterday’s wave of bomb alerts across several European countries.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🔰 New legal developments in the Hezbollah-linked Dahr al-Baidar explosives case: Lawyer Maan al-Asaad has filed preliminary legal objections on behalf of six individuals charged who remain at large, citing a pending appeal before Lebanon’s State Council against the government's March 2, 2026 decision banning Hezbollah’s military and security activities and ordering the group to surrender its weapons.
The appeal remains unresolved. However, under Lebanese administrative law, filing such a challenge does not automatically suspend the government’s decision.
The explosives prosecution also involves separate charges under Lebanese Penal Code Articles 288, 307 and 335, alongside weapons and ammunition laws.
Military Investigating Judge Ghada Abu Alwan has referred the objections to the military prosecution for its opinion and postponed further questioning until November 17, when additional arrest warrants could be considered.
Meanwhile, Haitham Amhaz and Ali al-Kurdi remain detained under formal warrants. A total of 13 individuals have been charged in the case.
🌲 - 🇱🇧🇮🇱 The Israeli military announced that its 188th Armored Brigade uncovered more than 340 Hezbollah weapons in the Beaufort Ridge and Litani River areas of southern Lebanon.
The cache included RPGs, anti-tank missiles, mortars, firearms, explosives and ammunition.
