Naotoshi Shida, the animator behind the famous SSB Goku vs Hearts in SDBH, has commented on Bird Studio being demolished:
“Akira Toriyama’s home and studio are being demolished?! And this is despite his being the creator of a world-renowned cultural legacy that Japan should be proud of!
Why not use crowdfunding to turn it into a memorial museum? Surely an incredible amount of money could be raised from fans around the world!
This is precisely when the national and local governments should step in! Seriously, get moving already!”

Hayden Christensen says he once got recognized by someone who was robbing his house.
The burglar gave him his stuff back & apologized so Hayden let him have some clothes and a pair of shoes.

Former 'DRAGON BALL' editor Kazuhiko Torishima expresses sorrow over the demolition of Bird Studio, reflecting on Akira Toriyama:
"The place I visited once a month...
The place where so many characters and works were born is disappearing.
So he's really gone..."

I grew up seeing him on screen. I think part of me expected him to always be there.
Rest in peace, Patrick...

Literally the only male Tune he’s not credited for in the film is Taz (Jim Cummings returned for that).
I’d argue we need a stronger word than “range” for how talented he was.

I’m a trans woman who was sent to a conversion therapist weekly for 2 years, so I know exactly how this will be used. Any children who genuinely regret transition will probably detransition through normal routes (offered by normal trans clinics). The children who are sent (1/3)

Unbelievably sad that should be a museum.

It could have been a Museum- i would have loved to see his desk or how he worked. But now we get to see comic book history torn down… so sad…
Toriyama’s Bird Studio house seems to be getting demolished.
