- Dems are panicking folks. You can see why @SpeakerJohnson looks so relaxed.
- Obviously, it all depends on election day, and Rep usually comes out much bigger then Dems in many states. If Rep have the same percentages over Dems similar to 2022 or 2024 then Rep will be ok.
- Dems are doing better in many Red States compared to 2022 - states like KS, SC, FL, TX, AK, NE - but Rep are still leading going into Election Day - and many of these states are leading by comfortable margins. Dems need to outperform Rep on ED and that is highly unlikely.
- States like Washington, Oregon, Arizona and California, the Rep are also doing well. Keeping pace with Dems.

After a very slow start Republican areas have surged in last 72 hours so what was looking like a Dem tsunami is now more of a Dem wave
Why this matters:
1. Most of the surge came in VA-1 and VA-5 so this late enthusiasm could save 2 house seats
2. If it's happening in VA it's likely happening elsewhere and we have seen a similar late surge in FL, IA and TX so this could have an impact on Tuesday
Republicans are relying on a heavy election day turnout but with strong late enthusiasm this certainly makes this a bigger possibility

Likely looking at another 40K plus win today for Rs. Lake county should be between 1.5-2K gain once it reports.
Midday update with Florida IPEV. Republicans are at their top margin for the day.
They are gaining with total votes as the volume today is larger. They are running ahead of yesterday but this is the time of day when they start to slow down a bit.

It has happened! In KS, the mail/IPEV is now R+1 (yesterday it was tied, Thursday it was D+2, Wednesday it was D+4 and Monday it was D+7). Democrats front loaded on the first day and are now out of voters while republicans still have MANY voters left for ED. Blue KS is gone.
