🔥🚨Scott Bessent Is Cooked: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent dismissed questions about the Trump administration spending $496 MILLION on a shuttered Minnesota prison that private contractor CoreCivic had offered the state for just $75 MILLION a year earlier, a staggering $420 MILLION difference.
Confronted during a press conference announcing a crackdown on government fraud, Bessent responded: “I don’t know anything about that,” before calling the question “a waste of our time.”
The administration is demanding accountability for taxpayer fraud while its own Treasury Secretary refuses to address a nearly half-billion-dollar purchase.
If questioning $420 million in unexplained government spending is a waste of time, what exactly does fiscal accountability mean?

BREAKING: Major redemption for Democrat @MaryPeltola!
Alaska’s Republican-run state government just filed a scathing motion urging a federal judge to immediately dismiss the Trump-directed DOJ lawsuit aimed at blocking certification of a possible Democratic win by Mary Peltola in the pivotal U.S. Senate race.
Officials called the suit “meritless,” said there is “no reason for this Court to entertain this meritless lawsuit any longer,” and labeled demands to set aside or separate ballots “both disturbing and impossible.”

🇺🇦 BUDANOV DEMANDS STRIKES THAT CRIPPLE RUSSIA’S WAR MACHINE 🇷🇺
Kyrylo Budanov is calling for sustained pressure on Russia’s military-industrial infrastructure, arguing that Moscow must lose the capacity to continue its aggression against Ukraine.
“For every victim in Ukraine, Russian military-industrial facilities must burn,” he declared.
His message is aimed at the factories and facilities supporting Russia’s invasion: protecting Ukrainian lives requires more than intercepting incoming attacks. It also means disrupting the production and supply of the weapons used to carry them out.
Budanov’s position is that lasting peace depends on reducing Moscow’s ability to wage war, not simply securing another temporary pause in the fighting.

❗️The Ukrainian ballistic missile FP-7 has already seen combat use, but according to Fire Point’s chief designer Shtilerman, it is economically unviable: delivering 200 kg over 300 km for $600,000 makes no sense when the same can be done with an FP-2 drone for $50,000. Using a high-explosive fragmentation warhead is pointless until the missile is codified and accepted into service with a cluster warhead. The ballistic missile FP-9 is undergoing final tests, with its first combat use expected in the near future.

Bad news for Russia. Good news for Ukraine and Europe.
The European company Destinus has ramped up serial production of its "Ruta Block 1" cruise missile. According to the company, 1,750 units have been completed, with a monthly production rate approaching 300 units (as of late October 2026).
📍 Production: Primarily in the Netherlands (including proprietary T150 engines, airframes, and avionics). An expansion in collaboration with Rheinmetall in Unterlüß (Germany) is planned.
🇺🇦 Ukraine: Confirmed—the missiles are being supplied and are currently in service. President Zelenskyy confirmed their use in combat operations in 2025 (with ranges exceeding 250 km). The Netherlands is funding approximately 700 units. Debris has been reported in Russia.
🚀 Block 1 Specifications: Range >300 km, payload ~150 kg. Features low-altitude flight, terrain-following capabilities, and operates independently of GNSS.
Future variants: Block 2 (>700 km) and a planned Block 3 (up to 2,000 km).
European-scale production, free from Chinese components—with a monthly output now exceeding what Europe produced annually prior to 2022.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 PUTIN PRAISES RUSSIA’S STRENGTH AS DRONES DISRUPT AIRPORTS AND STRIKE DEEP INSIDE THE COUNTRY
Russia’s air defenses faced another demanding night as Ukrainian drones approached Moscow and targets far beyond the front line.
Accounts of the overnight attacks describe 613 drones over roughly ten hours, disruptions affecting 21 airports and repeated air-defense announcements from Moscow’s mayor.
In Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan, approximately 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian front, smoke was seen near the Bashkir Soda Company. The industrial complex has been linked to chemical production relevant to military supply chains, including materials used in protective equipment.
The disruption comes amid other signs of pressure on Russia’s war effort.
Russian military commentators have complained about contradictory orders, while Ukrainian maritime drones have complicated shipping operations in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
One particularly unusual case involved a Russian officer, Lieutenant Colonel Frolov, accused of organising fraudulent injury claims within his unit. Accounts of the case describe staged combat incidents and millions of rubles in illicit compensation.
Meanwhile, Russian television offered a striking contrast: an air-raid warning interrupted coverage of Equatorial Guinea’s president thanking Putin during a diplomatic appearance.
The broader picture is one of growing strain across Russia’s military, logistics and domestic infrastructure.
Moscow continues presenting itself as a power capable of sustaining a prolonged war. Yet Ukrainian attacks are increasingly forcing Russian authorities to confront security challenges far from the battlefield.
Putin speaks confidently about Russia’s resilience. The repeated disruptions to airports, industrial facilities and military logistics tell a more complicated story.
