Timeline cleanse 🇺🇸 An incredible story from our friends in southern Minnesota.
The 'Nolte 36': The story of 36 cousins from one Minnesota family who served in WWII with humility and hope Author Paul Wessel spoke with Liz Collin about "The Nolte 36" — the almost unbelievable story of the 36 cousins in his family who served in World War II and survived. His book, "They All Came Home," explains how they served with humility, honor, and a sense of honest values during one of the most challenging times in our nation's history. Wessel spoke about how his relatives immigrated from Germany and settled in Fairmont, Minn., in the late 1800s. Their descendants would later serve in WWII and survived more than a few harrowing moments during the war. One of his relatives flew more than 30 missions over France and Germany as a B-24 bomber pilot — and was hit with flack during his last one. “I think at this point in our country we're looking for hope. We're looking for models that we can reflect on and say, what does integrity look like? What does humility look like?" Wessel said.

NEW: Minnesota House GOP Leader Harry Niska reacts to last night's election results as voters gave state Democrats another trifecta "The question now is whether Governor-elect Klobuchar will stand up to the tax-and-spend wing of her party, or whether she'll be another rubber stamp for the far-left agenda, like Tim Walz was. House Republicans will be watching, and we'll be fighting for Minnesota families who can't afford more of the same."

UPDATE: The City of Rogers has released a statement saying that the election judge in question "assured us that there was absolutely no political message or intent behind the shirt, that it was worn as Halloween attire, and that they would never be supportive of the apparent message that others have tied to it." "The election judge in question has given the City permission to note that they are a Republican judge pursuant to the requirement to maintain party balance per Minnesota Statute," the statement said. Alpha News has reached out to the Minnesota GOP to see if if they are aware of who the election judge is. "Had the perceived political connection of this shirt been known at the time, the election worker would have been asked to remove or cover up," the statement added.

Eagle Brook pastor implores Christians to vote: 'Each of us should exercise our duty to vote' "Some people call Minnesota a refuge state for transgender care," said senior pastor Jason Strand. "You’re not a refuge state if what you're legislating and recommending harms kids years later down the road." "Does God want all the Christians just to sit out and then everybody else can decide what the world's going to look like for our kids and for our grandkids?" he asked.
