OK I try not to do this but it still blows my mind that I’m on the official Minecraft Twitter page.
Minecraft is for everyone, and that very much includes our blind community! In this latest episode of Meet a Minecrafter, join Chris to learn how sound and text-to-speech make it possible for him to hold off zombie hordes – and slay the Wither:

Meet a Minecrafter: Blind Minecraft
What’s in my everyday Cary? Some Excedrin, a couple of packs of Ramen noodles, and a dead iPad. That’s kind of fitting for me these days lol

Asking the vines thing again with a poll:
How do people feel about how when you stand around in a Jungle for a long time all the vines grow until they touch the ground (meaning the original length variation from world generation is gone)?
22%I like it
45%I hate it
32%I don't care

They just made the user interface of Minecraft more accessible by adding keyboard navigation and narration to the interface. Thank you devs.

Difficulty settings can improve accessibility but they aren't same thing!
Lowering the challenge may remove barriers. It won’t replace captions, remapping, screen-reader support or accessible UI.
Ask what skill the game intends to test then remove the rest!

Recently I had the pleasure of speaking about @WeLoveTropics on the fantastic @thespawnchunks podcast. If you're curious to learn about its history or why you should join our 10th event happening on November 6-8, give it a watch!

This post hurt my feelings
Veggie Straws are potato starch. The vegetables are powders, and most of them are there for color.
The bag reads potato starch, potato flour, corn starch, cane sugar, sweet potato powder, salt, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, spinach powder, tomato powder, then beetroot, turmeric and beta-carotene for color. The spinach and the tomato come after the salt.
An ounce of straws is 140 calories, 6 g of fat, 200 mg of sodium and 1 g of protein. An ounce of Lay's Classic is 160 calories, 10 g of fat, 140 mg of sodium, 2 g of protein, more fiber and more potassium.
It's basically a potato chip pushed through a die instead of sliced. The green straws are spinach powder and the red ones are tomato and beet, all of it listed below the salt.

Devastated by the news about BioWare. The destruction of games as an art form by people only focused on a spreadsheet about quarterly results.
One of the main reasons I always use a hotel is because of this. What do you mean you charge more and I’ve got to do chores before I leave?
Plus hotels are more secure
My heart is broken I love the nacho fries
Taco Bell's nacho cheese sauce has no cheese in it. The list starts with nonfat milk and cheese whey.
Nacho cheese sauce reads nonfat milk, cheese whey, water, vegetable oil, modified food starch, maltodextrin, then 2% or less of natural flavors, sea salt, jalapeno puree, vinegar, autolyzed yeast extract, lactic acid, cellulose gum, dipotassium phosphate, citric acid, potassium citrate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, and annatto and oleoresin paprika for color.
Cheese whey is the liquid left over after milk is curdled and the curd is taken out to become cheese. It's cheap, it carries some of the cheese taste, but it has none of the body, so the oil and the modified starch put the body back while the yeast extract puts the savory back. The orange comes from annatto and paprika, not from cheddar, because there isn't any.
Taco Bell lists it as certified vegetarian, which it is.
What the hecking heck?
