".....hit'em where they ain't." - Wee Willie Keeler
The 1st run of game #3 of the 2026 World Series will not go down as a BARREL but it did count regardless and I’m betting that the #nerds are not happy! You see in baseball often times it’s not how you hit it or how hard you hit it but WHERE you hit it that matters most! And the #nerds can’t seem to accept that because they don’t have a formula for that! To them it’s LUCK and they can’t seem to understand how or why the best hitters seem to be LUCKIER than the average hitters! Nerd implosion in 3, 2, 1… #shegone @notgaetti @BobFile @billdubs @iamrags @artofhitting @hittingguru7 @slider_sinker @SliderDom @low_and_outside @TheRealJHair @DMEASrecruiting @VandyonTigers @SalMarinello @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan @MLBNetwork @WillClark22 @MLB

MLB testing a rule that bans outfielders from shiftting hitter to hitter due to lack of offense. Here’s a unique idea how about finding hitters who can handle the bat and make adjustments or can’t the computer find that?

The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball. They are doing things that have become unusual. They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for. They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals. They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues. They hit the ball the other way. They value putting the ball in play. They adjust their approach based on situation and count. They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit. They bunt and steal bases. They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities. The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.

"For the first time in decades, fewer than 30 million fans attended MiLB games over a full season."..........uh there are 40 less MLB affiliated minor league teams. so.......a bit misleading.
For the first time in decades, fewer than 30 million fans attended MiLB games over a full season. This is the third consecutive season in which attendance has dropped. BA's J.J. Cooper has more on MiLB attendance: buff.ly/VGK3w58

Imagine that.
The Brewers had the highest ground-ball rate in MLB this season. The pulled the ball less often than anyone, too. Only one team hit fewer homers. They are the exact opposite of how modern baseball is supposed to work. They also are a scoring machine. wsj.com/sports/baseball/brew…

How many times have you heard it said? You have to hit HR's to score because you can't string hits together vs the pitchers of today. I heard it from ML hitting coaches. Well let me introduce to you the Milwaukee Brewers who won a franchise record 103 games this year. These are the Brewer's offensive rankings among all ML teams in the 2026 regular season. Batting Average-1st OB%-1st Slug-10th OPS-4th K%-17th BB%-1st BABIP-1st Hr's-Tied for 28th 3B's-6th 2B's-5th 1B's-2nd Hits-1st SAC Flies-14th SAC Hits-5th Launch Angle-30th by far Exit Velo-7th. I believe they have proven all you "GENIUSES" wrong. It can be done the "OLD FASHION WAY!"

Little fundamental things in baseball always come into play in the biggest games . Guardians double steal with 2 outs. Rays have to know better than to go cover any bag . Middle was way back Ramirez had a big lead at 2nd , simple communication between SS-3B and C prior to any pitch being thrown to Adel . Best game in the world for tons of reasons ⚾️ @RaysBaseball @CleGuardians

Both teams bunting. Moving runners over. Hitting the other way. Shortening swings. Sure doesn’t sound like the “regular season”. AMAZING what happens when teams HAVE to win. #Feel #Feel #Feel

You can tell MLB needs a salary cap more than ever. Small market teams like the Red Sox and Yankees can’t compete against big market teams like the Brewers, Guardians and Rays. It’s not possible, they don’t have the resources.

I agree with most of these. #shegone
Or...and I'm just spit ballin' here... - Keep 162 games - Pitchers can throw to first how ever many damn times they want - Get rid of Interleague Play - Get rid of The Playoffs and go back to best record in each League wins their respective Pennant and have them face each other in the World Series. - Get rid of the DH in the National League - Allow runners to slide hard into 2nd again - Fire the entire front office of any organization which routinely allows position players to pitch instead of using actual pitchers - Stop taking money from gambling sites - Stop trying to grow the sport by appealing to non-fans rather than fans you already have (AKA The Don't Kill Star Wars Plan) - Either go Full Robo Ump or No Robo Ump. Pick one. You're welcome.

All 30 MLB front offices please wake up. Data is a great tool, but it can’t be 💯 your metric to play baseball. If you want Johnny and his pocket protector helping your front office fine, but keep him to the side, get baseball men back into the sport. Let’s stop teaching launch angle , and velocity is the end all be all . Bring this sport back to what it once was . We are in a society now that praises a starting pitcher pitching 4 or 5 innings that’s just damn terrible. Or people will praise a hitter because he hit 30 homers, but yet strikeouts out 200 times a year and bats .210 what is wrong with some folks . Let’s get America,s Pastime back 🫡
