Still have to update all of my old RSU strategy guides (you can tell that the theme and formatting got funky as I made changes over the years. 🤣)
Stay tuned for those updated strategy guides and content.

What Do I Love About My Business?
This was a prompt I had when submitting my spot to be a guest on a #podcast. I'm glad it made me pause from the chaos and reflect for a second.
"I love that my super powers help alleviate the stress, pain, and anxiety that many folks have around money. So many folks are willing to do the work and make the changes if they understand what's going on and it's super rewarding the provide that clarity."

I’m looking for my next role in AI engineering.
Recently, I have worked on production AI assistants, MCP tools, and the infrastructure supplying data to machine learning models. My work included reducing token usage without losing relevant information, building repeatable evaluation workflows, and validating a migration to a lower-cost backend before switching production traffic.
I use AI coding agents throughout development, with hands-on ownership of design, testing, code review, and rollout. I’m particularly interested in teams building useful AI products and making agents reliable enough for real-world work.
I’m looking for a remote US role in AI engineering or software engineering focused on AI. I’m also open to discussing focused consulting projects around AI workflows, evaluation, and reliability.
If your team is hiring, or you know someone I should talk to, please send me a message. Introductions and shares would help a lot and are much appreciated!

Does your employer offer an ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Program)?
If it does and you're not maxing it out, you're leaving money on the table.
How much?
That depends on how your ESPP is structured.
An employee stock purchase plan allows you to purchase company stock at a discount. Sometimes I've seen it be only 5%, but the maximum allowed is 15%.
Another critical difference between ESPP is when that discount is calculated.
The best version has a lookback that allows you to lock in a lower price if the value at the beginning of the offering period is lower than the price at the end of the period.
Here's an example: Jan 1st price of $20, July 1st price of $30. If you receive a 15% discount at $20, then the price you pay is $17 per share when it's valued at $30. That's a 76% rate of return.
Without the lookback, the discount is always priced at the ending value of the offering period. So same example as above, but the purchase price is $25.50 and the rate of return is 17.6% (notice it's actually better than 15%)
Stay tuned for details on the tax impacts of your ESPP, as this is long enough. 🤣
