🚨 Mid Term Elections 🚨
I expect the #Democrats to win big in the mid terms today.
Here’s why,
1. Rise in inflation was self inflicted for the most part. If America was attacked directly then I feel the Iran war would be more supported at home but it’s not and inflation is soaring, just read the latest economic data and commentary. This will be a core grievance in my view. Especially as winter is coming gas prices will continue to soar as winter demand stays high.
2. Interest rate promises weren’t kept and pressuring the fed had an adverse affect on markets and policy. His man actually not as loyal as he thought. He is principled and understand the world. You can’t lower rates or get the “Swiss Rate” POTUS wants in this Macro Environment it’s not realistic at all.
3. The Republican party has developed too many factions. From MTG to Tucker to Pompeo to Rubio to so many others it’s sloppy. The #MAGA group, the Apologists and the Anti-Trump #Republicans all hate each other and it’s more public than ever.
Let’s not forget that President #Trump insisted on launching his own party by turning his back on the party. He was minutes from launching his own until the party threatened to withhold his data, contacts and campaign funding.
In effect President Trump now has the party he always wanted but it’s worked against him he’s increasingly isolated at home and abroad and I personally feel the mid terms will reflect that. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Texas flip as well.
What do you think?

Elon right now
The governor-elect of Texas, Gina Hinojosa, has explicitly said that all currently permitted datacenters in Texas will be allowed to finish construction. This essentially covers all of the 2027 and likely well into 2028.
She is going to pass laws that ensure that all *newly* permitted datacenters going forward for delivery in 2028/2029 will pay taxes, commit to no increase in power prices for consumers, don’t impact water availability for people, be constructed with union labor and give “Texans a seat at the table.”
Sounds reasonable. She doesn’t want to lose a lot of good blue collar jobs and property taxes for small towns in rural Texas.
Datacenter commentary starts at 6:30 in this interview.
Also attaching her official campaign position from her website in the next post.
Sidenote: After watching a bunch of her speeches and interviews, I do think she is a political talent and probably has a future in national politics.

Republican Party is having a meltdown on X
The party is more divided than ever and posting anything for clout at this point
What’s worse is that it’s increasing obvious commentators have no real world experience beyond their towns
The party needs a lot of therapy and introspection. Guarantee it’s gonna nasty over the next 2 years when the in fighting between the factions comes out in the open

I felt that way until I started my own business
I feel like once you start offering a service to others that genuinely improves their lives the calculus just changes

Many #Nuclear energy stocks remain well off their highs after a sharp pullback across the whole fission centric value chain.
SMRs, utilities, miners, enrichment companies and more are 40-80%+ below 52w.h.
🧵 Let’s take a look at some of them
the binance hacker just did something genius and it should scare you
tether froze $1.5 billion in stolen USDT. circle froze $800 million in USDC. everyone's celebrating like the problem is solved
meanwhile the hacker deposited the stolen USDT on aave, borrowed ETH against it, and walked away. because USDT can be frozen. ETH can't
he's never paying it back. he doesn't need to
tether and circle just proved they can freeze billions in seconds. and the hacker just proved that if you know how defi actually works, none of that matters
the freeze saved some of the money. but the smartest money was already gone before anyone pressed the button
