ALT Jewish institutions have taken note of “lack of youth engagement” in communal spaces such as synagogue, JCC, Hillel, and Chabad. Many of us have left silently, canceling our memberships or letting them expire.
ALT As Jewish youth, we do not want to divest from our communities; however, we cannot separate these organizations from their unquestionable support for Zionism and the apartheid colonial project of Israel.
ALT No institution can truly be supportive and welcoming while attached to a racist state and a racist ideology. This letter-writing campaign serves to bring a voice to the silent strike of progressive Jews against Zionist Jewish organizations.

In commemoration of October 7th, the revolutionary Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, we are calling for a week of action for pro-Palestinian political prisoners Elias Rodriguez and Casey Goonan.
The Palestinian Revolution, with dignity and pride, changed the course of history two years ago, and on this anniversary we must also stand up for those who took action. Former political prisoner Georges Abdallah said, "it is the duty of every revolutionary to respond with the means at their disposal" in his salute to Elias, noting that it is a duty for revolutionaries in the west to rise in response to genocide and in solidarity with the Resistance. Elias is accused of being such a figure and Casey has been convicted of fulfilling this duty.
Elias is accused of assassinating two zionist pigs in DC in solidarity with anti-colonial Resistance forces in West Asia fighting for a free Palestine. He is currently pre-trial and potentially facing the death penalty.
Casey Goonan is a political prisoner who has been convicted of torching a UC Berkeley pig vehicle in support of the pro-Palestine student movement and in support of the Palestinian Revolution. They were accused of a series of arsons in what was termed Operation Campus Flood. They were recently sentenced to almost 20 years in prison.
From October 25 through November 1st take action in support of our comrades. Direct actions, letter writing, wheat pasting, banner drops, or whatever you may have in your toolkit. Stand up for our comrades in the imperialist dungeons.

On May 7, the FBI raided Tarek Bazrouk’s home and arrested him. He’s a 20-year-old Palestinian from New York. The charges were tied to Gaza protests in 2024 and were already in state court, scheduled to be dropped the next day. Before that could happen, the feds stepped in and hit him with federal “hate crime” charges.
Tarek has no criminal record. He was denied bail and sent to MDC Brooklyn, one of the most dangerous and inhumane federal prisons in the country. He’s been there ever since.
Tarek now faces up to 5 years in federal prison.
Since his arrest, he’s been targeted by a coordinated smear campaign aimed at isolating him and discrediting the movement. This is not about one case. It’s part of a broader effort to criminalize Palestinians who refuse to bow their heads.
The people they lock up are not outliers. They are the heart of our struggle.
Tarek’s sentencing is in October. By then, he will have already spent five months behind bars. We are demanding time served. He should be released immediately.
From NYC to Palestine, prisoners are the compass of our struggle.

FBI are raiding houses all over DFW area, targeting parents and loved ones of the 10 people accused of organizing a noise demo at an ICE facility, after which someone allegedly shot an ICE stormtrooper. An 11th person was arrested by FBI for receiving a call from the jail.

When Mahmoud Khalil was arrested in March, his wife, Noor Abdalla, was eight months pregnant. She assumed he’d be released soon; he has a green card and still hasn’t been charged with a crime. The days after his arrest blurred together. Friends brought food; she paced the apartment, calling family members and lawyers. It wasn’t until weeks later, after ICE transferred him to Louisiana, that the reality set in. Khalil had done all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry during her pregnancy. She was alone and could go into labor at any moment. She tried to stay hopeful that he’d be home before her water broke. When it did, in late April, her lawyers asked ICE to grant him temporary release. While contracting in the hospital, she learned the request had been denied.
