BNSF is responding rapidly to significant flooding and washouts affecting portions of our Southern Transcon route in New Mexico. Our teams are working around the clock to inspect and repair damaged track, safely restore train movements and coordinate recovery efforts. One of two main lines has been reopened, with trains moving at reduced speed. A separate washout is affecting our El Paso route. Crews are monitoring water levels and preparing the site for repairs. Time estimates are not yet available for restoration of normal service at both locations. We're working closely with customers and partners to manage traffic, reduce delays and restore normal service quickly and safely.
