Sir, with due respect, I disagree. Congress never promised to be the saviour of those who trusted BJP. BJP did, that's what makes the betrayal so much worse. The party that weaponised our trust, exploited our sentiments, and used nationalism and Hindutva to silence legitimate questions cannot keep hiding behind Congress forever. We didn't bring BJP to power to become its victims. We brought it to power because we trusted it to stand up for us. We prepared to fight our enemies on the battlefield, only to discover that the hands we armed were the ones holding the dagger.
