Microsoft has filed a patent for an AI system that could rewrite what people say during livestreams in real time. It could change words depending on who's watching, taking into account their age, location, and language.
The idea is to clean up broadcasts by removing filler words, censoring swearing, or even replacing certain words.
The AI could also adjust the speaker's lip movements so viewers wouldn't notice anything had been changed.

Am I the only person who uses Blu Tac (aka poster putty/stickytac/funtac) for masking before spray painting minis?
For example, I had a Tau drone, and I didn't like the colour scheme, but I did like the way I'd painted the lenses, so I masked them with tac before respraying.

A poster has come under fire after admitting he plays tabletop games every week, sometimes twice. Critics pointed out that this is hardly representative of the hobby, where many people spend more time theorycrafting about games online than actually playing them.

Several active accounts agreed that designers need to stop listening so much to folks who actually play RPGs. One suggested that regular gaming experience should probably be considered a conflict of interest.

We already have words for all of these things, but they're "too real" for the soft people.

I live in the UK, and I have a decent firearms collection.
They are all legal, licensed, and fully functional, and I regularly go to the range and the gun club.
People ask, "Why own guns in the UK when you cannot carry them openly or otherwise, or use them for self defence?"--
I get asked to playtest a lot of things... not as much as I used to, since I stopped running a dozen gaming groups, but still lots... but so much of it now is uninspired and derivative, that I decline the bulk of it.
