Fine babes dey this world meh, Iβm just happy to be part of such a flourishing community
GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeriaβs states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the β¦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Hi Everyone, please I need your help.
Iβve battled Keloid since I was 2 as a result of the first ear piercing which was done at birth and was done wrongly.
My parents have gone through several options given to them and it keeps reoccurring.
Iβve done several surgical removal that I canβt even keep count both in general hospitals and private hospitals and they always finish up with kenalog as usual, I did cryotherapy for 2years with a popular Bumps clinic and the pain from the procedure almost paralyzed the left part of my body as it became weaker and I couldnβt use it, still it resurfaced.
Since 2015 Iβve been in and out of the hospital over this keloid, one general hospital suggested removing the whole ear which might cause another issue as it could still grow again.
Iβve been going through excruciating pains, every single day of my life Iβm in pains, Iβve been popping painkillers like whoβs taking candy, I barely sleep at night
Most days Iβm awake till morning, once itβs night I get scared cos the pains becomes unbearable.
Sometimes I take sleeping pills just to get through the night.
I canβt go out, I canβt even show up for my business, my parents and siblings have had to give up their finances every single year because of me. Last year November, my sister single-handedly took care of the bills for the procedure I did.
At some point the Keloid started to accumulate abscess, it becomes so much that Iβve had to go through drainage process, I did one last year as well.
And all of these have made the keloid very aggressive and it grows faster by the day, the last removal procedure I did was in April of last year, the growth youβre seeing in frame 1 is just 1year and 7months growth which is unusually fast.
Since I finished my service year Iβve been at home because I couldnβt work with this condition, I even had to let go of a few job opportunities I was recommended for with the hope of getting this done before I fully commit.
A doctor I met recommended LASUTH earlier this year and since May Iβve been trying to get booked for surgery, initially I was booked for surgery but I wasnβt told everything it entailed, my first surgery date was September 11th and it was moved later on due to the strike.
I was opportuned to secure a consultation again with the Burns and Plastic unit (BPSU) yesterday in LASUTH and the consultant put me through everything I needed for the keloid to not reoccur.
He said I needed at least 2 Radiotherapy sessions of which one has to be done exactly 24hrs after the surgical removal and then another few weeks after.
After which I have to undergo chemotherapy and then post op care which includes injections, drugs, silicone creams, and any other recommended care.
The Radiotherapy is to be done in LUTH (I was given a reference letter for it) after making enquiries in LUTH, the estimate of one radiotherapy session was given at 2.5m, and Iβll be needing 2sessions which sums up to 5m. Then the surgery for the removal of the Keloid costs 1.2m and Iβve been able to come up with that. Then after the surgery Iβm to undergo chemotherapy and post op care but I have not been told how much that would cost, so I am unsure of the entire cost of that but the estimation according to what Iβve researched is about 2m.
LASUTH have given me November 19th for my next and last consultation before the removal and this simply means I have to come up with the money for everything before then.
So in total what will be needed for the successful surgery and post op care is 8.2m of which Iβve already raised 1.2m and Iβm left to source for 7m before the 19th of November.
This was really really hard for me to do as I have never done this before but this is my last resort as I have exhausted all my options and I have spent more than 6months alone trying to get booked with LASUTH.
Please help me get my life back together π

If youβre working more than two jobs to survive and keep your head afloat in this economy, repost this.
My friends got married last month, and they clearly said they didn't want use a generic invitation website. I danced around a couple of ideas, and after a few suggestions, we finalized on what they loved, and I got to work.

There's something incredibly satisfying about finally cracking a brand you've struggled to create content for, especially when you're working in a niche that's unfamiliar to you.
I love the way my fyp is built, you will find convos about strategy, media buying, social media, building startups Peter obi. Nothing concern me with unnecessary gender wars, or crazy men trying to tell a woman what she feels during pregnancy.

I've been the content lead at a marketing agency for the past 3 months.
I can tell you for free that you have a much better chance of landing content & marketing gigs if you can do these 2 things religiously (me i've tried it o)
1. Build a portfolio around case studies.
2. Create demo videos showcasing your skills.
Let me explain why these two things can give you an advantage, especially if you're just starting out.
1. Stop filling your portfolio with writing samples alone.
Writing samples are important, but content marketing goes beyond writing.
Businesses want people who can research, develop strategies, understand audiences, identify content gaps and connect content to business objectives.
Your portfolio should demonstrate these abilities.
For instance, if you want to work with SaaS companies, find three SaaS brands and analyse their content marketing strategies.
Look at their websites, blogs, social media platforms, messaging and content distribution.
Identify problems and develop practical recommendations.
Turn your findings into detailed case studies.
Be transparent that these are independent projects, not paid client engagements.
2. Start creating demo videos.
This is one strategy I think more beginner content marketers should adopt.
Instead of just telling potential clients that you understand content marketing, RECORD YOURSELF demonstrating what you know.
For example, create a 5-minute video showing:
- How you conduct a content audit.
- How you develop a content strategy.
- How you create a 30-day content calendar.
- How you analyse competitors.
- How you identify content gaps.
- How you develop content pillars for a business.
Use Loom or OBS Studio to record your screen while explaining your thought process. (You can also use your phone recorder)
3. Why do these demo videos give you an advantage?
Think about it from a client's perspective.
You're asking someone to pay you for a skill they've never seen you demonstrate.
A demo video changes that.
Here's what happens:
β’ It builds trust:
Clients can see how you approach real business problems instead of relying on your claims.
β’ It demonstrates expertise:
You show your research, strategic thinking, communication and problem-solving abilities.
β’ It reduces hiring uncertainty:
A client gets a preview of how you might approach their project before committing money.
β’ It makes cold pitching easier:
Instead of sending generic emails, you can send personalised videos highlighting opportunities you've identified in a prospect's business.
β’ It differentiates you:
While other beginners are submitting CVs and writing samples, you're giving potential employers something more substantial to evaluate.
4. Where should you start?
Here's a practical assignment:
1. Pick an industry you want to work in.
2. Identify three businesses in that industry.
3. Analyse their existing content.
4. Develop three case studies highlighting problems and proposed solutions.
5. Record three demo videos explaining your recommendations.
6. Upload everything to Notion, Substack or Google Drive.
7. Add your portfolio link to your CV, LinkedIn profile and cold pitches.
You don't need 10 paying clients to build a portfolio that demonstrates your capabilities.
Start with independent projects. Be honest about what you've done and what results are hypothetical.
As you gain clients, replace those projects with actual client case studies and measurable results.
Stop building portfolios that only tell people what you can do. Build portfolios that SHOW them what you can do.
The difference between being another applicant and becoming the candidate a business wants to speak with is how well you demonstrate your abilities.
