Around 300 people have gathered to protest in Jerusalem's Paris Square, Tel Aviv's Mesila Park and UNESCO Square in Haifa, calling for the formation of a Jewish-Arab government. Protesters carried signs with slogans including "Freedom for all, from the river to the sea" and "Yes to a Jewish-Arab government." BREAKING ANALYSIS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has just released a formal statement that states that Iran "continues to give diplomacy a chance to succeed", and that Iran remains in "close and ongoing contact with intermediaries to review implementation of our 7-Day Plan". Many people in the West are grossly misinterpreting what Araghchi is saying here, and inaccurately viewing this as an "Iran is desperate for a deal" statement. That is not the case. Ever since the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran first fell apart, Iran's demands haven't shifted in any way whatsoever. While people tend to interpret statements, particularly from Araghchi and Ghalibaf, as indications that Iran is begging for a deal, the reality is that they are desperate to avoid a reckless and hopeless escalation from the United States which they know has no chance of producing any change but greater global economic devastation. That is not what Araghchi, Ghalibaf, and Pezeshkian in particular want. They know that they have sufficient munitions and capabilities to completely shut down Project Freedom along the Omani Route. They know that they can very easily devastate Gulf energy infrastructure, economic infrastructure, and AI data centers. They know that this war reached its strategic conclusion months ago. To view this statement from Araghchi as "desperate to cower to the United States" would be a severe misunderstanding of what Araghchi is saying here. What Araghchi is communicating is that Iran is WILLING to make a deal with the United States IF that deal is actually one that is reflective of the strategic outcome of this war, which overwhelmingly favors Iran. He sees that President Trump is currently agreement incapable, and that his rhetoric in recent weeks indicate that reckless and hopeless escalation is on the horizon... And THAT is what Aragchi is communicating. Iran doesn't WANT to devastate the global economy. They don't WANT to devastate Gulf energy infrastructure. They don't want to cause untold damage just because President Trump is entirely incapable of living in the realm of reality. But if push comes to shove, have no doubt. Iran will respond without constraint, and it would be the single most foolish decision that Trump could make.

NEW: Claims from OSINT channel @MerruX indicate that the Ansar Allah (Houthi) strikes on Ras Tanura yesterday actually struck IMPORTANT infrastructure at the refinery, and not just a storage tank as many presumed based on the NASA FIRMS indications. Ras Tanura is one of Saudi’s most important oil refineries, refining around 550,000 barrels per day.

NEW: The UKMTO is issuing a BROAD warning for the Gulf of Aden this morning as a result of increased Pirate activity that has been unfolding for more than a month now. As I told Politico more than a month ago about this corridor and activity: “We’re now looking at multiple vectors that are increasing pricing for maritime companies, forcing companies to de-risk entirely, and posing a huge threat to the global economy. The threat from Somali pirates doesn’t need to be significant on its own, but because it compounds with all the other factors, it makes a fairly large difference at this point every time they take action.”

Iowa farmers' union on the Iran war and how it is ruining farmers: "Farmers have needed help for months because the policies pursued by the Trump administration, implemented by USDA, and supported by Republican members of Congress have led to ridiculously high prices for diesel and fertilizer. Our Iowa members of Congress have failed to push back as the President has pursued trade wars and a military war that have put farmers on the front line of the consequences of those policy choices." iowafarmersunion.org/iowa-fa…

NEW: In today’s deep-dive analysis for @MeidasTouch, we examine the current state of play in the Saudi/Yemen War following the Quadrilateral Summit hosted in Tehran yesterday that, at least per Israel Hayom reporting, saw a billion-dollar offer made from Saudi Arabia to Ansar Allah (Houthis) to “pause” the war. It should go without saying, but $1B to convince Ansar Allah to stop what has been an INCREDIBLY successful war against Saudi Arabia that has devastated Saudi energy infrastructure and crippled The Kingdom’s air travel… That’s not even in the same stratosphere as a legitimate offer that Ansar Allah would accept. In today’s piece, we look at the intensifying strikes from Ansar Allah that has allegedly struck the East-West Pipeline infrastructure multiple times in recent days, confirmed to have struck the Ras Tanura Refinery, blasted King Khalid Airport to smithereens, and resulted in the cancellation and postponement of several flagship Saudi events in recent weeks. Saudi Arabia must sprint to the negotiating table with Ansar Allah in a SERIOUS way… Or cowabunga it is. meidasnews.com/news/there-is…

NEW: With Ansar Allah (Houthis) successfully striking the Saudi energy infrastructure at Ras Tanura, a site more than 700 miles away from the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, it has been truly staggering to see how effortlessly Ansar Allah has been able to target Saudi energy infrastructure and airports. Speaking to @AlMonitor this morning, I highlighted Ansar Allah’s ability to strike critical targets across The Kingdom, and what this means for the war and the global energy markets: Brett Erickson, managing principal at Obsidian Risk Advisors, told Al-Monitor, “The Houthis have turned Saudi infrastructure into target practice with remarkably little resistance. From airports to critical energy infrastructure, virtually nothing appears beyond their reach.”  He went on, “The greatest threat to global energy markets is no longer whether Saudi Arabia can defend its infrastructure, but whether the Houthis decide to destroy it.” Erickson added that “Saudi Arabia’s energy security increasingly rests not on Riyadh’s ability to defend its infrastructure, but on the Houthis’ willingness to spare it.” “That is an extraordinarily dangerous position for the global energy market to be in,” he added. al-monitor.com/originals/202…
