#Asemulator update! (v1.0.2)
Some fixes related to backgrounds and configurations.
Slices with bounds outside your canvas will be loaded correctly now 👏

I think I'll post a rough roadmap in a few days so you know what to expect 😌
It's been roughly a month since the official release of Asemulator, and I just wanted to thank you all for downloading, sharing, and buying it!
Took some time to rest, and I'm ready to work on new updates for y'all👀

Diving more into @MapleGecko s great extension. We're basically making games inside of @aseprite at this point. Doom remake soon?

Action states (available in paid templates) have amazing flexibility, you can pretty much do whatever you can imagine with them.
Base states transitions are not customizable yet though, so idle > pre-run > run wouldn't be possible without using an action. I'll note it down👍

I'll add it to my list for the planned Action states rework 🫡 Feel free to post some more on the discord server!
For replicating configurations, I suggest you take a look at the config export/import features 👀
No public roadmap yet, but I got a few feature updates planned 👍
Asemulator launch offer ends soon!
Less than 24 hours to grab the template bundle at a reduced price — don't miss it!
(After it ends, Asemulator's template bundle will return to its standard price)

Custom backgrounds and collisions are already available in Asemulator 👍
I recommend checking the demo backgrounds and the documentation for more information about those (it can be found in the extension itself).

Major updates with more features are planned in the future, but I'll take some time to rest for now haha
As for your request for a "RoA mode", the Side-scroller template is basically made for that 👍

Additionally, each template comes with a demo sprite (the little guys you see up there) and a demo background, to help you learn about the things you can do in Asemulator 👍

Asemulator uses a template-based system: each of these templates will change the range of states and actions available to the character sprite you're using.
Asemulator comes with a free Platformer template, but you can buy other templates to unlock more features.
* You cannot actually hit penguins in Asemulator (not that you should in real life)

#Asemulator update! (v1.0.1)
Just a little fix for our Linux friends (here's an accurate depiction of how I fixed it)

You've most likely only installed the templates without the actual Asemulator extension!
You can find it here in the download section (asemulator_v1.0.0.aseprite-extension is the file you want):

Glad you like it! 🙌
Now give this cool dude a fitting background 👀

I'm not sure what you mean by 2.5D, but the top-down template does have 3D movement! 👍

No plans for a Steam release for now 🙏
Itchio is a much more friendly platform for this kind of project so I'll stick to it for now.
If Aseprite ever releases an extension marketplace though, I'll be the first to get on board 👀
