If these density numbers are correct than the A20 Pro efficiency superiority is just straight up magic shit 😆
I don’t know why but there is something fascinating about Gurman not using the term Tandem OLED here.
It’s the only tech that’s expensive (and good) enough to justify this price change and it’s already available on iPad Pro. Either there is a chance it’s somehow not Tandem OLED…

It’s kinda insane how instantly DOA Googlebooks are. What an absolute disaster and a waste of hardware and engineering efforts.
Gurman has gotten some smaller stuff wrong in the recent product release cycles so I still hope that his prediction about the OLED MacBook Pro coexisting with the miniLED M5 Pro and Max versions turns out to be false.
The M6 14” miniLED MBP is enough for a cheaper alternative.
Are there still morons out there who claim Apple’s chips are only better because of using newer nodes? Well here is Apple using an INFERIOR N2 to Qualcomm’s N2P and still coming out ahead by a metric ton.
#A20Pro is mogging the #Snapdragon8EliteExtremeGen6

Is it just me or does this Gurman reporting not make sense to anyone else. It this is true (and I am reading it correctly) we would get:
- 14” M6 MacBook Pro with same design, MiniLED, simple replacement for current M5 version
…
An “easy” list of refinements I see happening on the next #iPhoneDuo that make me less interested in the 1st gen:
- thermals (larger vapor chamber)
- main camera (larger sensor, support for ProRes, ProRaw, etc.)
- Action Button
- Face ID
- Apple Pencil that attaches and charges
I know it’s unlikely but I wish #iPadmini would go full “Pro” at next week’s #ProandTell event.
- Promotion OLED (preferably Tandem OLED but that is even less likely)
- higher quality (quad?) Speakers
- Face ID
- Vapor Chamber
PCIe 4x4 and TB4 would be cool but require M chip
