Think im more Sage In now than ever.
Pierre Sage is under no illusions that things aren’t working for him at Crystal Palace currently.
He admits he’s adapting to the Premier League but believes with time they can achieve his ‘model’.
I asked him if he when he took the job at Palace, if he believed the club would stick with him during tough times.
Sage 🗣️
“When we chose to work together, we took this decision because we think it can fit, or match, and for the moment it’s not the case.
“But there are some things that can help us to have hope.
“In my job, I always say that to have opportunities you need to be an opportunity.
“And my way of working is maybe different, I maybe have to adapt to this league, but I will keep the way I decided from the beginning with little adaptations, and I’m sure at the end it will be okay.
“Because I consider football and the play of the team as a model. Sometimes you are far from the model, sometimes you are close to the model. And we just have to work on how close we are to the model, to be closer and closer. And maybe when we are in line with the model, we can improve.
“And to go back to your second question [on being given time], I think people around me understand this.”

🔴🔵 *THE SELHURST ATMOSPHERE — WHAT NEXT?*
Yesterday's match was another reminder of just how important the atmosphere at Selhurst Park is to the Palace experience.
At our meeting with Crystal Palace FC on 22 September, CPISA raised supporters' concerns about the changing matchday atmosphere, including music, entertainment and the absence of the Holmesdale Fanatics.
The club explained its approach to matchday entertainment and confirmed that dialogue with former HF members continues.
Among the matters discussed:
🔴 Pre-match music and entertainment
🔵 Shortening post-goal music to allow supporters to generate the atmosphere
🔴 Continued dialogue with supporter groups
🔵 Reviewing PA system volume levels
*Selhurst Park has always been special because of its supporters. Let's keep it that way.*
