Thanks for representing the young people of the @NRMOnline
Yesterday at @Parliament_Ug, I had the privilege of delivering a keynote address on behalf of @EAYLF_official at the University Student Leaders’ Convention.
I emphasized that students can shape Uganda today, not just lead it tomorrow, through service, innovation, honest leadership, accountability, and respectful dialogue.
My sincere thanks to the Office of the Guild Speaker @Makerere @TrevisMuhwezi, along with other co-organizers @NimdUganda @TheJNLC and @Parliament_Ug @ObothOboth for their financial support and for making this event possible.

The NRM Youth League Chairman, @tanga_collins , attended the African Political Parties Summit, representing Uganda’s youth leadership on a continental platform.
His participation reflects the NRM Youth League’s commitment to strengthening political cooperation, promoting youth participation in leadership and governance, and fostering partnerships among political parties across Africa.
Through such engagements, we continue to champion the role of young people in shaping Africa’s political future, advancing democracy, and promoting sustainable development.
A united and empowered African youth is key to Africa’s transformation.
At the historic Adwa Victory Memorial in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I was honoured to attend APPS 2026 alongside the NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. @TodwongR, Government Chief Whip, Dr. @JaneRuth_Aceng , Hon. Arinitwe Rwakajara representing Workers, Daniel Obal and other distinguished Ugandan leaders.
The summit explored youth and women’s leadership and Africa’s capacity to build economies that deliver opportunities for its growing young population.
Africa’s transformation must be led by Africans, anchored in visionary leadership and driven by the full potential of our people.

Today, we presented @BusitemaUniv 's position paper to parliament's committee on Tourism, Trade and Industry calling for coordinated national effort to revitalize Uganda's entire cotton and textile value chain. Our proposal emphasized strengthening famers cooperatives and outgrower schemes, rehabilitating and modernising ginneries and industrial structures, investing in specialised training and capacity building, advancing research and innovation, reviewing existing relevant policies and regulatory frameworks. Establish centre of excellence in cotton and textiles and industrial value chain. Uganda must move beyond exporting exporting raw cotton to building a competitive, integrated industry that creates jobs, increases famers income, strengthen domestic manufacturing and drive industrialisation

People are addicted to potential. They love talking about what they could do, what they might achieve, who they will become. But potential without execution is just fantasy. Don’t live in the fantasy. Execute in the present.
Good Morning! Have a Splendid Day.

Today, I proudly celebrate a significant milestone: my registration as a Professional Engineer in Uganda, under the Engineers Registration Board (ERB), Registration No. 2313, in Mining Engineering. This achievement reflects years of professional practice, dedication and rigorous assessment. I sincerely appreciate the ERB and UIPE for upholding professional excellence.
Engineering is more than technical expertise; it is an instrument of innovation, problem-solving and nation-building. This recognition carries a greater responsibility to uphold professional ethics and translate engineering knowledge into solutions that advance Uganda's industrialisation, mineral resource development and sustainable transformation.
I receive this milestone with gratitude, humility and renewed purpose. Professional registration is not the destination; it is the beginning of greater responsibility. The true measure of an engineer lies in the value of solutions delivered and the lives transformed.

Actually I do think, she should have been respected by her minister enough to ensure she spoke. Freshers ball isn’t just a moment of enjoyment but also for the freshmen to familiarize with their student leadership and to delete the guild president is a power flex.
