Jill and I are mourning the loss of our friend Dolores Huerta, a giant of the American labor and civil rights movements. For more than seventy years, Dolores fought for working people. She organized in the fields, she walked the picket lines, and she sat across the table from people who never expected to have to negotiate with her. I say often the middle class built this country, and unions built the middle class. Dolores understood that in her bones. Well into her nineties she was still traveling, marching and organizing for working families, for women, for immigrants, for LGBTQ Americans. Even this year, she showed a different kind of courage, telling a painful truth she had carried for sixty years so others would not have to carry theirs alone. America is fairer and more decent because of Dolores Huerta. Jill and I send our love to her entire family, and to everyone who found their voice because of her. May God bless Dolores Huerta. Sí, se puede.

Just a few months after his show's conclusion, Stephen Colbert's late-night show took home the Emmy for best variety series. He used the opportunity to express his gratitude for the show's more than-200 person staff, "who threw themselves at this show for 11 years to try to do the best show they possibly could for you." 🚨🚨🚨 HERE IS THE JIMMY KIMMEL INTERVIEW WITH JAMES TALARICO THAT DONALD TRUMP DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE. PLEASE SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE AS IT IS A MASTERCLASS MUST-WATCH SEGMENT 🚨🚨🚨 Trump didn’t just “move an interview to YouTube.” He tried to censor James Talarico — the Democrat now leading Ken Paxton in Texas Senate polls — off broadcast television. Desperate Don's corrupted FCC didn’t need an official ban. It put ABC licenses under extraordinary early review and warned stations that a late-night interview with a candidate could trigger federal “equal time” punishment. Texas affiliates got the message. So voters in the state that decides this race were not allowed to see the interview on free TV. That is election interference with a regulatory gun to the network’s head. This is pure corruption of the free press and the first amendment. Trump went on that same show twice while he was running. No problem. Talarico starts polling ahead of Paxton in Texas? Suddenly the Depression-era broadcast rule becomes a weapon. They didn’t put a censor in the control room. They used fear. They used licenses. They used the FCC to keep a leading challenger off the public airwaves. The First Amendment exists to protect speech FROM the government — not to protect Ken Paxton from a candidate Texans might actually vote for. trump sees "falling" as SO embarrassing, he's LYING on 60 Minutes about what we all saw last night: His ass fell like a sack of rotten potatoes. 60 Minutes didn't even show the clip. But I have 2 different angles. Be a shame if everyone RTed and #TrumpFell went VIRAL.

BREAKING: Amanda Roberts, the sister-in-law to Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre just gave a strong warning to President Trump ahead of his State of the Union address tonight. “Mr .President, today we are saying ‘we will not move on and the world is not moving on.' The world clearly sees the pattern at how this administration has treated survivors with disgrace, contempt and dismissal.”

Cindy’s story is far too common. Too many people struggle to afford their medication, and their health pays the price. In the wealthiest nation on Earth, we can and *must* do better. I won’t stop fighting until health care coverage is accessible and affordable for all.

Alex Pretti was a VA ICU nurse who spent his career caring for veterans, often in their final hours. When I met his coworkers, they shared how he treated every patient as if they were the only one. Both Renee Good and Alex should be alive today.
