In a regulated environment what are some good reasons that validate the usage and overhead of WSL vs say a cloud linux device? @unixterminal
A week after the company told all employees they would not be doing a Return to Office campaign they sent out a phishing campaign for a Return to office opt-out form link with a deadline.
The things people are doing are fully “hands off the wheel” which is probably why you don’t see similar progress. Setting up a Claude code(or others) instance and giving it direction/outcome and full authority to verify its own mistakes without your intervention is the key.
I keep trying it and it just functions differently than the others. I ask claude make a mcp it makes it locally. I ask grok it spins up two vms, builds the mcp and exposes it to the internet and gives me a remote rdp session through the web browser.
based on my outcome based favoritism today- Claude CLI has provided my preferred solutions or answers.

Sounds better than joining tech support IRC channels and getting “dissed” and “burned” for not knowing group policy didn’t link to groups.
I wonder if they will be going after and enforcing the terms as some big brands utilizing it in commercial settings was not uncommon.
1: Listen you can't change Authentication to the Dev environment as the Dev environment is for Devs and they are working!

Some Entra tenants just have less restrictions if you pretend to be a Windows Phone or an Xbox. 🤷♂️😅
