Did u know your child’s doctor is paid 25% less than adult docs with the same yrs of training and debt? The way we fund care in this country is backwards, leading to a dwindling pool of med grads choosing pediatrics @bvincibmc and I propose a fix here: statnews.com/2024/04/02/too-…

Overturning Roe will critically restrict the provision of abortion care in many states, and jeopardize trainees’ ability to develop abortion knowledge and skills. Though many may feel powerless now, medical institutions must recognize they are not. 1/3 medpagetoday.com/opinion/sec…

Last night, the Republican-controlled Florida legislature passed a dangerous bill that will severely restrict women’s access to reproductive health care. My Administration will not stand for the continued erosion of women’s constitutional rights.

Your ZIP code or how much money you make shouldn’t affect your ability to access essential health care in your own community. We thank @SenSchumer for bringing #WHPA to the floor and strongly urge every senator to listen to their constituents and pass this vital legislation.
JUST IN: The Senate is moving towards a vote on the Women’s Health Protection Act! This historic legislation would help fight back against state bans & restrictions like what we’ve seen in FL, AZ, and TX. NOW is the time to #ActForAbortionAccess.

The final version of the 15-week abortion ban bill is being voted on today in the Florida House. Watch the full debate via @floridachannel starting at 2:30 pm by visiting thefloridachannel.org
.@FLHouseDems have proposed multiple amendments on Florida’s 15 week abortion ban, including exemptions for rape, incest, reproductive coercion and human trafficking. So far all have failed along what seems to be a party line vote. Cruel for the sake of being cruel.

Last night’s #SCOTUS decision on #SB8 strips pregnant people in TX, especially those from communities of color, those without abundant resources, and those who are young, of the ability to access needed abortions. This will profoundly impact people's lives, health and well-being.

Today, Texans are waking up to a world without access to almost all abortion services in the state as Texas has implemented #SB8, its new vigilante law that essentially bans abortions after six weeks and violates #RoevWade.
