I suddenly have a new love for Poland.
🚨HOLY CRAP!!! 🔥Polish MP Grzegorz Braun removed the EU flag in front of the government building AND SET IT ON FIRE 🇪🇺🔥 He claimed that Poland would not display the symbols of what he called a dark organization. "This is Poland, not Brussels". 👏👏👏🔥
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This incident with Grzegorz Braun removing and burning an EU flag occurred on May 6 2025 in Katowice not recently. arbiterz.com/grzegorz-braun… x.com/GrzegorzBraun_… tvn24.pl/katowice/katow… polskieradio.pl/395/7784/artyk…

I don't think many people realize that it takes nearly two days to traverse across Iowa

Nothing says Iowa values like a group of people willing to steal from others.
There is way too much going on in this photo to comment on it. Vote @ZachLahn

Iowa Democrats led by @RobSandIA think that the mother should be able to abort this baby.
Live look at a baby in the amniotic sac shortly before birth. Not just a “clump of cells,” but instead a human being, made in the image of God. Jeremiah 1:5 - “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” Abortion is murder and must be abolished.

The papacy has fallen a long way—from the power to bring kings to heel with the threat of excommunication, to amounting to little more than a single vote. Thank God for the Reformation.

I’m not sure who came up with this, but it does serve as a powerful reminder SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?" DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?" DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour." SON: "Oh! (With his head down). SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?" The father was furious. DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior." The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. DAD: "Are you asleep, son?" SON: "No daddy, I'm awake". DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for." The little boy sat straight up, smiling. SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!" Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?" SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do. "Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you." The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family. Some things are more important.

It’s one of the key reasons why everything is so expensive. The freight companies need to make a profit so they pass the cost down to the consumer. So in a sense, this is a tax on the consumer, it’s just a tax that we can’t track explicitly.
When you pass a semi-truck on the road today, remember that this is what they are paying for fuel.

An idea for her defense could be postpartum depression.
Everyone seems to be misunderstanding the story about the mom arrested for leaving her 4 kids home while she went to Vegas. >It was a work trip, not a vacation >Babysitter came every morning to get kids ready for school >The babysitter checked on them again after school >The kids were 14, 12, 11 and 9 >She was coming home in 5 days >Kids father charged with hitting the mother >Florida has no law setting an age kids can be home alone ...call me crazy, but when I was a kid this would have been NO PROBLEM AT ALL. I'm on the mother's side here, all charges should be dropped.

I voted for this
America, more than any other nation in world history, was shaped by the Christian tradition of spreading the gospel unto all nations. Join us in celebrating International Religious Freedom Day.
