Proof Sweden 🇸🇪 and Finland 🇫🇮 are superior nations. Finland ofc being part of Sweden for 500 years. So let’s just say Sweden is superior 😅😉
We need the EU to standardise quotation marks right now

Not a bad analysis.

I visited NATO summit Ankara this summer. During that summit Sweden signed a joint cooperation agreement with Germany regarding air defence. Around the same time France and Germanys joint program to build 6th Gen fighters crashed leaving Germany alone. I of course connected the dots and asked defence minister @PlJonson about that during the press conference. Main stream media of course didn’t understand. Now that is happening since Sweden and Germany will jointly develop a 6th gen fighter. That is just one example of how difficult defence can be. If you are a ”regular” journalist you have tot cover so many areas. That means your analysis in defence will not be on point, at least not always. So why do I write this - so that you go to my YouTube channel and subscribe ofc 😅

Nothing is decided yet, I should add. But it makes the most sense. Neither Germany nor Sweden are in a big hurry. Sweden is implementing the gripen e right now and Germany the F-35.

Very interesting.
Ukraine’s Third Army Corps says it has introduced a unified mission command training standard, teaching every combat unit to act autonomously and make situational decisions. The corps claims this has cut its losses threefold and increased enemy hits fivefold. #Ukraine

Rybar, the Russian blogger with close ties to the Russian intelligence services and the Russian military, has produced a remarkably detailed map. It seems the Russians have a very clear idea of where unrest is likely to break out in Europe! They are watching us. They are analysing us. And they clearly know exactly where they might strike. #russia #EU

I remember when they were trying to close all our underground facilities in the Swedish armed forces. It wasn’t long ago.
Ukraine’s front line has moved underground — and it’s changing what defense actually means in this war. Near Kramatorsk, soldiers of the 93rd “Kholodnyi Yar” Brigade now travel between combat positions through tunnels, not just shelters to wait out shelling. Journalists have compared the growing network to a subway system: junctions, branch tunnels, multiple exits, rest stops for troops hauling heavy gear. The shift happened because the old solutions stopped working. Anti-drone netting over roads used to buy some protection. It doesn’t anymore. So Ukrainian units found routes drones simply can’t watch — below ground. “They’re building tunnels and underground fortifications specifically so the enemy can’t kill our soldiers with FPV drones,” said Colonel Vitaliy Sarantsev, spokesman for the 14th Army Corps. “This is genuinely important for the front today, and it’s one way of preserving personnel.” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa recently visited one of these underground command posts — footage shows a fully built-out facility, not a dugout. Some sites go further still: truck access, parking, mess halls, sleeping quarters, even a drone-ammunition production line the troops call their “underground factory.” The engineering has been tested. Sergiy, callsign “Marik,” commands an engineer-sapper platoon building strongpoints with corrugated steel and three layers of timber overhead. “The guys took a direct hit from 152mm artillery. The shelter held. Then a guided bomb hit ten meters away. It held that too. Everyone survived.” Training has moved underground as well. Odesa’s military academy built the country’s first underground training hub, designed so classes continue through air raid alerts. Troops even fly drones indoors as coursework. What this actually means It’s a structural answer to a battlefield that drones have made almost impossible to survive in the open. Military analyst Kostiantyn Mashovets put it plainly: tunnels let Ukrainian forces regroup, resupply, and rotate troops while staying largely invisible to the enemy, cutting off most of Russia’s tactical-level strike options before they can even be used. Militaries have reached for underground infrastructure before whenever air power made the surface too dangerous to cross. The technology each time is different. The logic stays the same: when the sky becomes too dangerous to move through, armies stop trying, and build somewhere the enemy can’t follow. “The battlefield is becoming more transparent and more dangerous,” said Colonel Ihor Obolenskyi of the “Khartiia” Corps. “Right now, underground, we’re more effective — both in spirit and technologically.” Source: ArmyInform, October 19, 2026 #Ukraine #UAF #ModernWarfare #DroneWarfare #DefendingUkraine

Easy to win. Just try. It is so easy to stand out in this world of utter and total mediocrity. Nobody does anything more than the bare minimum. Show up on time, prepared. Execute. Have some drive. It is not difficult.

Russia won the innovation race around May in this category and Ukraine has been paying the price for that since then. Now hopefully very soon we can see Ukraine catching up.
Six Ukrainian companies have launched serial production of miniature turbojet engines, according to Andrii Hrytseniuk, head of Ukraine’s Brave1 defense technology cluster. A total of 11 Ukrainian companies are currently developing these engines. Brave1 began funding the sector in 2025, and establishing serial production took more than a year and a half. Hrytseniuk said that no private company in Ukraine had previously manufactured these engines. The funding program launched in 2025 established turbojet engines as a separate development area and enabled Brave1 to begin working directly with manufacturers. Source: Oboronka
