I dislike SLS long term but man, it's going to be amazing watching SLS launch at least 2 times a year starting in 2028
So glad to live in a time where we watched spaceflight go from being a drought of nothing to humans returning to the Moon this time, to stay.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS YEAR, AN SLS ROCKET IS STACKED ON THE MOBILE LAUNCHER! JUST 6 MONTHS AFTER THE LAST LEFT THE PAD!
Bruh this gave me a heart attack at first 😭
A COPV appears to have RUDed at @SpaceX's McGregor facility at approximately 11:26:22 PM CT. @NASASpaceflight's live cameras watched as the stand became fully engulfed in the minutes after. (50x speed)

I had to read that twice
Starship Flight 16: Ship 43's going to Pad 2, likely for some catch tests with the chopsticks.

What are they doing to my beautiful rocket 😦
I mocked up SLS Block 1 vs SLS-Centaur vs SLS-Centaur with a kickstage
The aesthetics are... interesting. But I'll take the performance to low Lunar orbit!

Artemis III will be one of the most complex test missions in NASA history.
Launching in 2027, Artemis III astronauts will practice rendezvous and docking with two commercial lunar landers designed to carry crew from the Orion spacecraft to the lunar surface.
Details below ⬇️

ALT The Moon is seen shining over the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft atop the mobile launcher on January 28, 2026. The sky is a dark blue gradient in the background. The core stage of the rocket is a burnt orange color. It is topped with the white Orion spacecraft and sandwiched between two white solid rocket boosters. The mobile launcher is a trussed structure that stands behind the rocket. The perspective of the image if from below the rocket looking upward.
