Punekars are set to march on Sunday, September 6, 2026, to protest against the deafening noise of DJ and loudspeaker setups during the upcoming Ganeshotsav festival. Yesterday, we visited #Hinjawadi Police Station, where Hon. PI Pandhare Sir and DCP Jadhav Sir took the time to patiently listen to the concerns of IT employees and the aspirations of #GenZ to hold a peaceful protest.
Despite the short notice, they granted us permission, extended full support for a peaceful demonstration, and emphasized the importance of everyone’s safety. They even made the police station hall available for a quick discussion and coordination meeting.
This constructive and citizen-friendly approach towards #ITEmployees and #ITForum – Forum for IT Employees is truly appreciated.
We sincerely thank PI Pandhare Sir, DCP Jadhav Sir, and the entire Hinjawadi Police team for their support, guidance, cooperation, and commitment to ensuring a peaceful and safe protest.
