Tropical Storm #Edouard has made landfall in Louisiana with max winds of 60 mph. The Atlantic has yet to have a #hurricane this year. Only 7 seasons in satellite era (since 1966) have gone into September without an Atlantic hurricane.

It's finally done, I can't believe it. After months, I have finally plotted every single Atlantic hurricane landfall on record.
There are approximately 1,167 hurricane landfalls listed. This is so unreal to look at.

Survey update: We've confirmed an EF2 in Pike/Bullock Counties, an EF0 in Chambers County, and an EF2 in Gordo in Pickens County. We're still sorting out additional damage in Greene, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa Counties. We have teams headed to Coosa and Walker Counties on Tuesday.

Here's my special hand-drawn snow accumulation map for the historic snowstorm that impacted the Gulf Coast earlier this week.
This storm smashed a ton of records on the Gulf Coast & certainly will be remembered for many decades to come.
The heaviest snow in excess of 9-10" fell from near New Orleans through Mobile, AL & the extreme western Florida Panhandle.
