I needed to hear this today 💖
A pastor asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast.
"Lord, I hate buttermilk", the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going.
The farmer loudly proclaimed, "Lord, I hate lard." Now the pastor was growing concerned.
Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, "And Lord, you know I don't much care for raw white flour". The pastor once again opened an eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn't the only one to feel uncomfortable.
Then the farmer added, "But Lord, when you mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So Lord, when things come up that we don't like, when life gets hard, when we don't understand what you're saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing.
It will probably be even better than biscuits. Amen."
Within that prayer there is great wisdom for all when it comes to complicated situations like we are experiencing in the world today.
Stay strong, my friends, because our LORD is mixing several things that we don't really care for, but something even better is going to come when HE is done with it.

Have you ever thought about death and what happens after? Many people think it’s a step into the abyss or into some kind of darkness. But for those who have come to the Cross of Jesus Christ and experienced His forgiveness, we go immediately into the presence of Almighty God for eternity. If you’re not sure that your sins are forgiven, pray with me now…

Science says we need four basic elements to survive:
- Food
- Water
- Air
- Light
Now here's what Jesus says:
- I am the bread of life
- I am the living water
- I am the breath of life
- I am the light of the world
Science was right, we all need Jesus.

I’ve been blessed to experience some unforgettable moments inside Assembly Hall during my time with the Indiana Hoosiers Men’s Basketball Team.
From Rob Phinisee’s game - winner over the top ranked Purdue Boilermakers… To the electric whiteout win against the top - ranked North Carolina Tar Heels…
But what happened this week sits at the top.
Thousands gathered at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall - not for a game, but to worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Fraternities. Sororities. Athletes. Campus Ministries. Community leaders. All unified at “A Night With The Son” event. Tiffany Hudson from @elevation_wrshp delivered a powerful night of worship.

Keep coming back to “One thing I ask from the LORD, one thing I seek” - to spend your life seeking the Lord, to know Him more each day.
The Apostle Paul said “I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord.”
Let this be your center, let this be your core through all the seasons of your life. Build everything on this foundation.
Life is just a breath and it’s time goes by so quickly. Don’t judge your life through the lens of worldly success but on this “one thing” - seeking to know Jesus more, and experiencing His love more.

Sports make a great game - but a terrible God.
Listen carefully if you’re an athlete…
One day the season will end.
One day the career will end.
One day the applause will stop.
If your identity is in the game, you’ll feel lost when the game is gone.
But if your identity is in God, the game simply becomes a platform.
Sports are meant to be played.
They were never meant to be worshipped.
Train hard.
Compete with excellence.
Honor God with your effort.
But never forget:
Your purpose is bigger than your performance.
“You shall have no other gods before me.”

If you think our nation is in trouble now, just wait… As our streets boil over with hate, anger, crime, drugs, and just sheer hopelessness, is there something we can do? You bet there is.
I would like to call for a time of prayer and repentance this Wednesday, January 14, at 12:00 noon.
As a nation, our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face.
Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets.
There are many who would like to stir things up—there are even those who would like to destroy this great country. Pray that these efforts would be thwarted and their plans would be brought into confusion.
Ask God to use His Church to be His instruments of peace in this time of great uncertainty.
Remember, this Wednesday at noon, please stop and pray. Millions of people remembering our sins and asking for forgiveness, repenting, and seeking His face will make a difference.
Let’s humble ourselves. Let’s give God the glory for this great nation and thank Him for His hand of blessing, protection, and mercy.

Wild: Indiana superstar QB Fernando Mendoza was asked about his favorite pregame hype song.
"I honestly don't listen to hype songs because I have to stay cool, calm, and collected. I actually meditate and pray before the game. I think praying, in a way, is meditation to help myself be in my thoughts, as Quarterback is a cerebral position."
This kid is going to be special 😭😭

BEAUTIFUL MOMENT 🥹
After last night's game, players from BOTH teams came together in unity and prayed at the center of the field.
In that moment, there was no rivalry, no scoreboard, no divisions, just men who love God coming together to worship our savior ❤️
