Pretty clear now it's fascists versus the rest of us. The fascists have made that divide very visible, which is the only good thing they've done.

Have you noticed the political class always finds a way to insist that whatever billionaire tax is proposed, now is not the time for it? And have you noticed that those making that argument are always aggressively amplified by corporate media? Yeah, that’s not a coincidence.

Looks like billionaires will stay and figure out a way to pay the tax. If we pass Prop 40, poor California kids can have healthcare. Gavin, can you and Sergey Brin stop with your fear-mongering of a billionaire exodus?
This is huge. A just-released SEC filing makes an extraordinary revelation: Mark Zuckerberg is getting ready to pay California’s 5% billionaire wealth tax and has signed an agreement to remain in California for 8 years. We are witnessing a global turning point unfold before our eyes. 🧵

The world’s first trillionaire is using his taxpayer-subsidized company to intercede into a foreign war against the U.S.’s expressed ally. Any accountability agenda that doesn’t start with Musk behind bars falls short imo

If California billionaires can scrape together $340 MILLION to fight a tax on billionaires, I think we've officially settled whether they can afford to pay the fucking tax.

This would be a good moment for Democrats to say something like "we won't let this happen."
The Trump admin is moving forward on plans to impose financial penalties on Americans in default on their federal student loans and hire private debt collectors to go after them. The plans are unlikely to be announced until after the midterms. washingtonsun.com/economy/tr…

💔 59 people have died in ICE custody since 2025, including six American citizens killed in ICE violence. 🧊 Congress must abolish ICE, close immigration prisons, and pass the Melt ICE Act. 🔗 AbolishingICE.org

One giant health care company could own your doctor, your insurer, your pharmacy, AND your pharmacy benefit manager. So, the same entity gives your prescription, fills your prescription, decides if your prescription is covered, and "negotiates" the cost of your prescription. How is this allowed? I've introduced the Break Up Big Medicine Act to stop health conglomerates from stacking the deck to maximize profits while patients pay more for worse care.

Elon Musk has dumped over $276 MILLION into political groups and Super PACs since July. That makes Musk the biggest known midterm donor. The ultra-wealthy are destroying democracy by buying our elections. End Citizens United NOW.

🚨 BREAKING: An Anthropic-backed super PAC is spending $3.5 million to elect Scott Wiener. Last year, SF Public Press reported that Anthropic helped write his watered-down AI bill. Big AI wants to buy San Francisco's seat in Congress. I won’t let them.

An important reminder for those in the Palisades (and Altadena): There are three months remaining in the statute-of-limitations for insurance claims. Even if your house survived, you should get it tested. If toxins are found, California law requires your insurance company to pay for remediation.

I’d advise everytime to see MUSK by @alexgibneyfilm before the midterms. There is no question what they did in in 2016 and 2024 and how they’ve refined it. Those of you who know me know I’ve been screaming about this for the past 10 years See how long this post lasts.

Prop 40 is the most important ballot initiative in America. A 5% tax on the 989 billionaires in our country would raise $4 trillion. We have to ask a basic question: Are we going to be New Deal Democrats or donor class Democrats?

This is what it looks like when we trust the guys profiting off AI to regulate it themselves. They’re preparing for the aftermath of a catastrophe, not preventing one. We need immediate Congressional oversight to protect humanity.
Scoop: Top executives at Anthropic, OpenAI and other AI companies are privately gaming out scenarios for a public and political revolt after a catastrophic AI event…They assume one in ‘27… axios.com/2026/10/09/ai-comp…

AI policy should not be written by a handful of billionaires who sat in the front row of Donald Trump’s inauguration and who make financial contributions to him. Period.

The maximum amount an individual can donate to a candidate is $3500. Elon Musk has spent $380 million on the 2024 and the 2026 midterms — so far. Billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy elections. Overturn Citizens United.

I can’t believe we have to say this, but the annihilation of two major American cities — more than 5 million people — is not a “small price to pay” for Trump's illegal war. Neither are the 19 American troops and 3,000+ Iranians who lost their lives. Our president is unhinged.
