I'll just say it: if you think $4.5k/80 hrs for experienced work is too much, then dog-pile me too because:
- I started making about that much in 2017 & have made more since 2019
- I've made up to $7k/2 wks i.e. 80 hrs in the past
- right now I make over $5k/2 wks before bonuses
Last summer at the county fair there was a mother and daughter next to me in the craft area looking at halloween-themed displays and talking about how they hate "creepy" things and now young parents are having their 5 year olds "rebuke" neighborhood halloween decorations.........
Everytime I learn that an artist I already liked was a socialist it feels like an angel is kissing me on the forehead.

illustrators used to make much, much more money in exchange for their hard work. Now most of us charge a few nickels and a ball of lint. And I think people have gotten used to that. So when someone actually charges industry prices….. yall get really unreasonably angry Lol
