It takes a lot of white privilege to stand on this stolen, occupied continent and complain about immigration.
Anyone who is seriously interested in voting for Brad Bradford as Toronto mayor should spend just a few minutes listening to his actual Beaches-East York constituents who have been warning about his inattention and inaction for years.

Last week, Smith posted on social media that “For every $1 of taxes a guest worker generates, taxpayers are covering $10 in services.”
While this figure might ring true for many, it is far from accurate. I fact check her claims in my latest 🔗 👇

Making the NHL is a privilege and the Oilers have consistently made a point that ethical and moral misconduct do not destroy that privilege. It’s disgusting to watch this happen over and over again. This organization is a great indictment of hockey culture— rotten to the core

Did anyone get a screen shot of @MalkinPCos since deleted tweet about oil and gas and the fear mongering about Venezuelan oil today by chance ? Please send it to me or tag me in it if you see a copy of it still around. It amazes me how completely foolish he truly is.

This my sons stand & this is the first time in many years we haven't hosted in person. If you are able, it would mean the world to Ethan if you could donate. Ethan came to us at 17 days old, 14 of which he had spent in the Stollery. They are amazing people doing amazing things.
When life gives you lemons, Ethan knows exactly what to do. 🍋💛
For six years, Ethan and his family have supported the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation through their annual lemonade stand — raising an incredible $7,400 along the way!
This year, some challenges mean Ethan’s stand has moved online, but that hasn’t stopped him from finding a way to give back to the hospital that has been there for him throughout his life.
Let’s show Ethan some love and help him reach that $8,000 milestone! Every donation, big or small, helps. 🧡

The Trump administration seems to get all its bad ideas from Ms. Smith, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Manning. One starts to wonder if they were at those mystery meetings in Washington with Mitch & Jeff.

"For at least its first year [...] Meta’s data centre will draw entirely on the Alberta grid, using almost as much power as the city of Calgary. Its own plant, the Greenlight Electricity Centre, is not expected to be in service until late 2030." #ABPoli

Only the UCP could forecast a $9.4-billion deficit, be handed a massive windfall by a wartime oil-price spike and emerge demanding applause for its fiscal discipline. That takes some nerve.
Alberta is on track for a sixth consecutive surplus, and the Heritage Fund is on pace to hit $35 billion in 2027.
Not only did we balance the budget in 2025-26, but we are now also on track for a $2 billion surplus in 2026-27.
Our economy is growing faster than forecast and faster than most of the country, and we’re attracting more and more investment.
Thank you to Minister Jason Nixon @JasonNixonAB and his team for the discipline and hard work behind these numbers. Alberta has been given a great opportunity to finish the year strong.

I just requested my mail ballot for the Alberta Referendum. I highly suggest everyone do the same. The line ups are going to be crazy, especially in urban centers, which is by design. They want you to give up & go home. Don't give them that. #ableg

Since then, Albertans are seeing longer waits, delays, confusion, & more red tape.
This isn't making life easier.
It's creating frustrations & added costs for families.

At the same time, @ABDanielleSmith and her government are cutting AISH and telling tens of thousands of severely disabled Albertans to go find work to make up the difference.
Cruelty and incompetence.
