❗️30 hours of the ceasefire in Oleshky have passed without a single incident. This has been made possible, in particular, by ongoing communication between me and Yana Lantratova, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights. We remain in contact and coordinate efforts to implement the agreements reached.
I would like to express my special gratitude to First Lady of the United States Melania Trump (@FLOTUS), who is personally dedicating her time and attention to this humanitarian mission and to helping civilians in Oleshky. Her direct involvement and coordination of efforts between the parties are an important part of this process.
☝️I also thank her entire team for their consistent support, ongoing communication, and every effort they have made.
Our shared goal is to ensure that civilians in Oleshky receive assistance and to create the conditions for the safe departure of those who need it.
We continue our work. What matters most is people’s lives and safety.

At least 46 political prisoners and protesters have been executed in Iran since March 2026. More than 100 others remain on death row. The executions should end and those detained released.

Ceasefire in Oleshky: Agreement Being Fully Honored
❗️As of 5:30 p.m. on October 27, Ukraine and Russia are adhering to the ceasefire agreement in designated areas related to the humanitarian mission.
The ceasefire came into effect today at 3:00 a.m. Kyiv time and 4:00 a.m. Moscow time.
The ceasefire will remain in effect until 10:59 p.m. on November 1. No ceasefire violations have been recorded by either side.
We are carrying out the humanitarian mission jointly with Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, with the mediation and coordination of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump (@FLOTUS).
‼️I hope that everything will continue in accordance with the agreed plan and that we will be able to help the civilians in Oleshky who are eagerly awaiting assistance.

THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

🔹 Royal Jordanian Air Force jets carried out Operation “Jordanian Deterrence – Hmoud,” in coordination with the Syrian government.
🔹 The strikes respond to last Friday’s attack on a church funeral in Hmoud, Karak. Those behind it are linked to the groups targeted.
🔹 Multiple terrorist sites were destroyed, numerous militants killed or wounded, and vehicles destroyed.
🔹 The Armed Forces vowed to confront anyone who threatens Jordanians and to keep rooting out extremism and terrorism.
