People love to talk about mental health until they have to witness someone struggling with it. Everyone says they care, everyone says itโs okay to not be okay, but when you actually fall into depression, suddenly you become difficult to be around. The calls get fewer, the invitations stop, and the people who once checked on you start pulling away. You go from being someone they enjoy to someone they donโt know how to deal with. Itโs a painful reminder that some people only know how to love you when youโre easy to love.
